This is my #tbt from a picturesque town! Thanks to life for each of my memories and especially for this wonderful life that today belongs to me! Some will say that it is an easy and simple life where I can travel and know but I must admit that if it were that simple, it would only be a vile lie and this server an imbecile ... Thank you for lot and my respect for those like me, They seek to outdo themselves!
(Sorry for my bad English)
"The Red shoe"
Auschwitz, the most sobering place I have travelled to so far. As I walk through the buildings, up the steps, that have divets in them from the amount people who have climb them, there was the room of shoes. A pile from the floor to the ceiling filled the room. All types of shoes, men, women, and children. This shoe caught my attention as it probably did the first day the woman wore them. Many people thought that Auschwitz was a place of refuge and brought their most prized possessions with them, only to never see them again.
As the red fades let not the memory of this place be forgotten. May we never forget the true evil man is capable of.
Ólafur Arnalds is an Icelandic neo-classical, multi-instrumentalist and producer. He mixes strings and piano with loops and beats crossing over from ambient to electronic. He new album Re: Member is hauntingly beautiful mix of ambient soundscapes. Whole album flows so seamlessly and definitely worth checking out. Found it great to listen to when you want to clear you head or just have something soothing on in the background. His latest works features, throughout the album, two self-playing, algorithm-driven pianos of his own design. Interesting enough he started his musical career as a drummer of hardcore metal band Fighting Shit and later for a Icelandic sludge metalcore band Celestine in the mid to later 00s. Two bands I‘m intending to check out. Always impressed when an artist spans more than one genre of music. Looking forward to hearing him performing at the Sydney Opera House later in the month. ✨Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be?✨
