Finding joy in everything we do especially repurposing furniture! Paul says in Colossians 3:23 "Whatever you do , you are working for the Lord, not human masters." So in everything you do work at it with your whole heart with God's purpose in mind" Did you know we pray over each piece before we deliver it or as we are restoring? Sometimes I have written a little prayer in pencil under the paint to the next family that will be getting the piece.
Always remember that what we do our main audience is God and not others.....Put yourself out there. Trust..it matters to God! 🙏❤✌

Ted brought in these old antique stool frames and we retopped them. One of the things I thoroughly enjoy about my job is taking items like this and restoring them to at the very least, their former glory. There are so many of these old, high quality frames rotting in Brush piles but here are two that will hopefully find good homes for years to come.
If you like what I post, follow and share away! At 50 followers I'm giving away a piece of galvanized art.
At our old house I had a fiddle leaf fig tree! I took care of it and kept it alive for a solid 3 years. I considered that a huge accomplishment. Especially since I had managed to kill any plants that I touched up until that point (I'm not a farmer). However when we moved the tree rebelled against me and kept dropping leaves! I researched and tried just about anything to get it to survive. But within a few weeks that tree was done! My best guess is that it had been moved around to much in the move and never fully recovered!
It has been over a year since our move and post death of the first tree. I've been wanting to get another. However I have also been afraid that I would kill that one too. Maybe I'm cursed ... who knows! I even debated on buying a fake tree for some time. But yesterday I finally made the decision to get a new LIVING tree! Fingers crossed that I can keep this guy alive! Please don't die... please don't die! 🤞🤞🤞
Project #2: painting and distressing our kitchen table and chairs! We got this set of 5, vintage style press back chairs and matching table with a leaf, for a steal last fall. I hate the original color (does anyone actually like orange oak?!) so I’ve always planned to give it a facelift. When I’m done with it, it’s going to be farmhouse dream! 💕 first coat of paint doesn’t look like much, but I can visualize the finished product. And no, I’m not leaving the legs orange 🍊#homedecor#farmhousestyle#chalkpaint#farmhousekitchen#diy#restoredfurniture#farmhousedesign#kitchendecor
