I used to leave vacation dreading going back to work... but for the first time in my life I left paradise to come back to my version of the #dreamlife. I sat by the pool, spoke with amazing women about building their own businesses and then this weekend I am opening an information session to invite those motivated ladies to my team. these photos were taken almost exactly a year ago, in my favorite place in the world... GREECE 🇬🇷. I was having a great day and felt so pretty in my dress and new cardigan. The reason why I am sharing these pictures is.... on that day I was with my beautiful friend , walking down the street. I bought some food from a guy on the side of the street and my friend didn’t buy anything... the food guy then says to her “why you don’t want anything... you won’t become fat like your friend by eating it.” ...... and why I’m sharing this is you never know what you are going to say to someone will will hurt them a year later.... I cried for the rest of the day and felt horrible about myself... and at the moment I went in the wrong direction... started eating more and more because I felt horrible about myself.... flash forward to today... I know I’m going to turn my weight and life around by doing this beach body program 💪🏼 with the help of amazing ladies and the program, next time I’m in Greece Ill be much happier 💙🇬🇷 .
Taking that first step is always the scariest, stepping into the unknown, taking a risk... but there’s nothing worse than not taking that chance on YOU and wishing you had. Not a single regret for the path I chose.🍍

CRUSHED a workout and all I needed for it was my laptop, yoga mat, water 💦 All Jackson needed was his seat (although he occasionally participated) 😂💙 ▫️ I had forgotten how great I feel after I get a workout done and how much energy my body gets from it! I used to FIND excuses not to workout or I would workout but then fill my body with CRAP! I hated going to the gym because I would only do the "easy" machines. I thought doing the bare minimum would get me the results I wanted and let me get out of there without embarrassing myself... LET ME TELL YA... it didn't 🤦🏼♀️😂 That's why I could never stick with it. I never had that buddy that was counting on me to show up and do it with them! Now I do, I have girls showing up and getting things done and expecting me to do the same! Well, that is a fact. But restrictions can lead to unhealthy binges and purges. This girl right here LOVES to eat. The meal plan I follow allows me to eat....every 3-4 hours in the day! Like what?! It is SO simple to follow. You have a certain number of containers you need to eat in a day. It’s up to you when you eat them! Flexible, not restricting, and allows for carbs! And desserts 😋What more can a girl want?!

When people say “I don’t sweat, I sparkle”, I just laugh a little. I think nah fam, I sweated my @$$ off to get results. I had GRIT. I was on the grind DAILY. I may be a “retired athlete” as some might classify me, but damn. These workouts are a challenge EVERY SINGLE DAY. Leg days are my favorite because I feel the strongest and sweat the most during them. I have changed my priorities to working out and pressing play because it makes me feel better, more energized and happier. I’ve put my free time into being a virtual wellness coach because it has changed my life. This community is so motivating and inspiring and why wouldn’t you want to be a part of it?! Do this TODAY, so your future self will thank you 🙏🏻

It is empowering to feel able to help others. By helping others, you are given great gifts – the space to be kind, to create good karma, and to lift yourself up as you serve another.
When you invest yourself in another persons challenges, you trigger feelings of gratitude for your own life. The problems you’re facing somehow lose their shine, and you don’t see them as major issues anymore. You feel grateful for your life as you support another with their life. To say I’m obsessed with what I get to do on a daily basis is an understatement 💗 #thecoachlife
It doesn’t get easier, you just get stronger. We cannot start over but we can begin now. Think about this for a second. How many times in your life do you think to yourself “I wish I could start over, go back in time, re-do today”. Well stop. What’s important is what you learned from the experience and how you move forward now. Tomorrow is a new day. Tomorrow is a new beginning. Tell that negative committee inside your head to sit down and shut up.

For what seems like my whole life I was apart of an athletic team. Elementary sports camps to 7th grade organized sports to High School Varsity teams to College teams to Coaching my own teams to nothing… .
When we moved here to Vinton and I took on more responsibilities in my new role as a curriculum and technology director with a husband that worked out of town and a child to take care of with soon to be one on the way I lost my “team.” .
If that wasn’t enough to take away my spirit I then began a vicious cycle of unhealthy habits… eating to eat, sitting to sit, and sleeping with hopes of rest, but not really getting the relief I needed (b/c I wasn’t taking care of my body). .
FF to year 4 into my admin job and I didn’t really know who I was anymore. I had gained 35lbs from my two pregnancies, and instead of losing while breastfeeding I’m pretty sure I was gaining at the rate I was going. I kept saying things like “I can’t do that, I have a baby. (She was 2!) I didn’t want to leave home to get in a workout somewhere, It hurt to run with the extra weight I’d put on, it was also mentally defeating as I was always comparing myself to the runner I was in college. .
Josh wanted to help, he bought a treadmill, we were going to do this together, but 1 treadmill and 2 of us, one of us had to take the early shift and I’d rather stay in bed than run in the same spot. Then about 6 months later, I found my friend Lindsey with her amazing story and results on FB w/ a program she was doing from home…. she didn’t have to go anywhere, she pushed play in her living room, she didn’t need any equipment and she was the same size we’d been in college… damn, I wanted that! .
The best part of the whole thing is that I got my TEAM back. I thought I’d be able to do this alone, I’m an independent woman you know, but I quickly realized that you go so much further when you join a team. The monthly groups on FB were just what I needed to stay accountable when the bed felt so good, stay accountable when I really wanted that dessert, stay accountable when I felt like I wanted to give up when it got hard. .
I didn’t only get my body back after babies… I got my team back.
