Picture from #Nigeria, last year...because, I’m running a half marathon in September to raise money for Sightsavers charity, to help them in their work combating preventable blindness in more than 30 countries around the world.
This past year I was fortunate enough to again travel the world for work, and saw the harsh conditions that some people live with, especially on the African continent. In Nigeria I visited a school for the blind and saw how hard it is to live in some places, to get an education and to feed your family, if you're visually impaired. But much of this blindness is preventable.

***RUNNERS - THIS ONE IS FOR YOU*** We are running a 3 week block running clinic. The course will alternate between outdoor sessions at Kelvingrove Park (6pm Mondays) with @activafpt and indoor sessions at the studio with @gordonactiv (5.30pm Thursdays). This will combine the performance and biomechanics expertise that Andy and Gordon possess to provide you with value to take away and implement in your own preparation or training 🙌
The video above is a great example of building a foundation with a bodyweight landing drill and then building on that with a Vipr progression 💪 Instagram also decided to crop Andy's mug out the video 😅 harsh but fair 😂
The sessions will focus on foot health and stride efficiency, knee and hip stability plus strength and conditioning specific to runners.
