Today was race number 2 of my "Birthday Series." It wasn't fast by any means but it was faster than last month. I've not been able to run a ton yet being back to work and figuring the balance of school, babies, husband, life BUT I have been showing up for ME every day. I've been lifting and doing cardio on my non-lift days. ✨ I have goals and an amazingly supportive husband who ran alongside me and pushed that double stroller so our kids can see that this is important to both of us. ✨I'm looking forward to the little lady starting daycare in a week so we both get an extra hour and a half of me time before getting the kids. I cannot wait to see what gains I can make next month and I'm so happy to show these kids that fitness can be fun. (Pictures of the kids because, why not 😁) 📷 Tan snacking before the race

Saturdays are for long runs.
Sundays are for Cyclebar 🚲💃🏼 getting ready to teach at 4pm!
Every day is for puppy selfies. Although we have a lot of work to do on LP’s facial expressions 🤣
I love productive active weekends. It leaves me feeling motivated and ready to keep my momentum going into the week. It’s when I have the lazy weekends that I have that Sunday night dread.
How are you guys finishing your weekend? Anybody meal prepping something amazing?!
So very proud of my husband, @john_bousum for not only finishing his first marathon, but in less than ideal conditions. Oh, and he CRUSHED it with a 4:45 time! Well done, Babe! #runningfamily#rt66run#rocktheroute#9run8
