For this milestone birthday, I thought it was most appropriate to do something different. I went beyond my comfort zone and took a solo trip to Ireland. By far the most memorable experience I have ever had. I met amazing people who made the trip more special without them even realizing. I got to run a half marathon abroad which was also on my bucket list. I have amazing family and friends who supported and pushed me to do it, and for that I thank them ❤️. I’m overwhelmed with all the love and birthday wishes I received yesterday... Thank you all for being a part of this blessing. #30indublin#vientidiez#crohnsrunner#runtheworld
All blue everything 🔵
Took my new @asics out for a little test run! They’re a newer version of the GT1000 pair I already have. I love my old pair, and these ones feel lighter which is a bonus! Was tempted to try out some brooks, but if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!
Climbing to the top of Cusco, Peru (13,000 feet) felt a little like standing on top of the world 🌎.
Don’t forget to pause and thank your body for all the heroic endeavors it allows you to do. #radrun#radrunning
Bye work week! #TGIF 🏃🏻♀️
The sun is finally out in San Francisco! So it’s time to get outside.
Top 3 destinations for me if you feel like doing something moderately active in the city:
1. Golden Gate Park! Just take a walk there, I mean the place is huge! Conservatory of flowers, Stow Lake, Japanese tea garden, De Young museum are just a few of my favorite destinations there.
2. Lands End. Looooveee that hike, the view never disappoints! And if you wanna get cultured, stop by the Legion Of Honor, they also have an outdoor cafe, the coffee is actually descent ☕️👌🏼
3. Golden Gate Bridge by bike 🚲. Rent it anywhere, but I go to @sportsbasement in Presidio for my rentals. Keep it local, or ride to Sausalito and have a brunch at Le Garage or have a drink at Bar Bocce 😉
