My name is Ally van Dorp and I'm a 3rd year Sport Exercise Student at Southern Cross University. “I was blessed enough to be a winner in the Bill Ussher Scholarship; which not only helped me financially with my studies, but also with my motivation and drive to succeed in my particular area of study. The scholarship money was such a blessing, as it meant I didn't have to stress about how I was going to buy school supplies and so on. Rather I could focus my time and mind on my education. And plus, as a uni student, it was nice to be able to buy coffee and not feel guilty about paying for it! I want to pursue a career in clinical exercise physiology; so I'm super thankful for the encouragement and support I received from the BCU team!” Apply for the 2019 Bill Ussher Scholarship - link is in our bio

I graduated from the Grow With Google Udacity Front-End WebDev Nanodegree course, today!
Getting 6 months to finish the entire nanodegree put me in my place. In the big picture, from the eyes of an experienced dev, I'm sure all of our projects look like simple jokes, but MAN. There, at the end, working with React, I gained a new envy for experienced dev badasses. Ohhhh my brain! I wouldnt have finished in that time frame it if werent for all the awesome people I met through the GWG Slack channel! 💜💜💜
Im stoked I finished. My degree conferral date is in two days, too! YAY BS IN IT! Im glad to hit a brain break, now, before my next challenge starts next week. 🎉
