Thank you Lord for a few moments today where we could help those hurting in Panama City from hurricane Michael. We love you for being our example to follow! We are praying for you all, and are looking forward to being around to keep serving
A lot of you friends know that my fourth daughter Aubrey has such a low immune system and for the first five years of her life she was sick EVERY MOMTH. It has been so hard for me to watch her constantly be sick especially when she was a baby. For the last four years we have been blessed with natural remedies that strengthen her immune system and help her stay healthy, she still gets sick but it's on average 2-3x a year instead of the 12x or more. I cannot thank the Lord enough because as a mom I feel EMPOWERED and I want to help other moms who are feeling helpless like I once was. Life doesn't have to be so miserable for sick people, there are options and if you are open to learning about these options I want to help you. If you know someone who could use this information please feel free to share. I am not a Dr nor do I want to replace any of them I just want to empower all people especially mom's to make the best decisions that they can for thier kiddos. Tonight Aubrey was coughing and couldn't sleep so I put a few oils in the diffuser next to the bed and turned it on in less than 10 minutes her coughing completely stopped and she was able to sleep. Again I am so blessed and I am so grateful to know that she and I both can sleep and she will get better very soon. #Empowered#naturalremedies#momsneedthis#educatepeople#sharewithsomeone#childrenarebeautiful#helpeachother#naturalsolutions#serveeachother
Absence makes the heart grow fonder for sure; however, being together investing in each other makes the love grow stronger! .
Catch phrases and fairy tale ideals will not help create a lasting relationship over time. .
Learning about yourself and learning about your spouse are two things that will help you to create a happier world for the two of you. Share what makes you happy and encourage your spouse to strive to do the things that makes you happy as you strive to do the same for them. .
I wish I could say I always get it right, but that would be a huge lie; however, I can say that I work on it everyday and everyday I get that much better at it. .
You CANNOT make another person happy BUT you can do the things that helps them to find happiness. .
Wednesday wisdom brought to you by Baba Ram Dass: “A lot of people try to counteract the ‘I am not good enough’ with ‘I am good enough.’ In other words, they take the opposite and they try to invest it. That still keeps the world at the level of polarities. The art is to go behind the polarities. So the act is to go not to the world of ‘I am good’ to counteract ‘I am bad,’ or ‘I am lovable’ as opposed to ‘I am unlovable.’ But go behind it to ‘I am.’ I am. I am. And ‘I am’ includes the fact that I do crappy things and I do beautiful things and I am. That includes everything and I am. As you start to rest in the I am-ness, from that place, you can start to set boundaries on the way you play the game and become more impeccable in the way you play it.” @babaramdass in Love Serve Remember
One of the things I'm doing today is organizing my man's hardware/tools & loose screws/nuts/bolts..., you get the idea. He's a natural fixer and handles most broken/tool-related projdcts, but the stuff ends up everywhere, in every crevice of the house. An organized area just means it'll get fixed faster with less hassle on Eli, and that's a goal of mine in everything that I do. For our home to be an easy place, in a hard world.
He travels for work once a week, overnight, and I use that time to try and get one new bigger project done, outside of the regular whole house reset. One thing that he may or may not even notice the day he comes home, but that will help down the line. I’m never ever bored and the house is forever evolving and becoming more organized, one trip at a time. So excited to be able to this exact life..... 😁 Now, okay, Instagram/plant watering break over, back to it! 🔦🔧🔩🔨📐⚙️🗄
From this weekend’s Bhagavad Gita workshop/meditation/discussion/good time with good people - “just like how a fish swims and a bird flies, a human serves [...] whatever gifts you’ve been endowed with, you must use them to uphold the world and reduce the suffering of all beings” - @davidhwagner. Carrying this into the week with me. Love you guys so much - happy Sunday! Jai!
