Um delicioso acompanhamento para o almoço de domingo: Farofa de cebola com Pimenta Cheiro do Norte
250g de farofa
2 dentes de alho picados
4 colheres de sopa de azeite
Sal a gosto
1 colher de pimenta Cheiro do Norte (vai da preferência de cada um)
Modo de preparo:
Corte as cebolas em fatias finas. Em uma frigideira, doure a cebola e o alho no azeite. Adicione a pimenta, o sal e misture. Espere esfriar e junte a farofa com a cebola. Finalize com salsinha.
RECIPE OF HHE DAY..Greetings everyone.. Another Newspaper Easy Recipe of mine.. One of my all time favourite signature dish.. It's burst with aromatic flavours.. A very good way to impress your guests.. you can use the exact same recipe for Prune Chicken Curry.. Dates Chicken Curry Recipe :
Serve 6 to 8
-1/2 tin of tomatoes (normal tin)
-2 fresh chopped tomatoes -12 garlic cloves -3 inches of fresh chopped ginger -1small onions -half cups of water
Add everything in a blender and bliz until smooth..set aside
-10 Chicken pieces ,marinated for 2 hours with 2tbsp of Garlic paste, salt,pepper and yellow food colouring.
-4 tbsp of ghee
-6 green cardamoms -2 cinamon sticks -3 star anis
-3 black cardamoms (optional)
-2 tbsp of garam masala -1/2 tsp of turmeric powder -1/2 tsp of chilli powder -pinch of jaffan - Salt to taste -half cups of fried onions -10 seedless dates and 8 to10 almonds.Blend both together with 1/4 cups of water until smooth.
-8 seedless dates cut into 2 -1cup of water
In a big pot add the ghee.. and 3/4 fry the chicken pieces.. remove and set aside.. in same ghee add cardamom,cinamon stick, star anis and black cardamoms.. let sizzle for few seconds and add the gravy base with half of the fried onions,Garam masala, turmeric and chilli powder .. let simmer on medium heat until reduce in half.. add the fried chicken along with the dates and almond puree.. mix and add 1 cup of water follow by the jaffan and salt.. cover and let cook for 20 to 30mins on medium to low Heat.. Then add the dates, drizzle few tbsp of liquid cream and garnish with more fried onions and serve with bread or Pilaf Rice.
