Spider-Man Movies from Worst to Best, day 2
Spider-Man 3 (2007)
Director: Sam Raimi
Today's pick is the one that ruined the first franchise. I almost rate it a little bit higher cause it have it's good moments. Unfortunately, I'd rather choose the order carefully than geeking on some Raimi's vision throughout short moments in the movie.
Just look at the picture, look at the picture and tell me you're not cringing just at the picture itself. It's like the movie was made for emo kids which by 2007 was already too late for that anyways. And I say emo kids but that's not limited to that scene only, we also have all the same drama between Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson and also Harry Osborne hates Peter. By a third movie this should've been solved, but everything is so emotional. Not just that, there's also Sandman and Venom around and wanting to kill Spider-Man for some reasons nobody remember.
Yesterday, I just wrote Amazing Spider-Man was a piece of shit. The reason is that movie was a repetition of the same mistakes over again. Both movies are convoluted, too many characters and plotlines and subplots and emotional people mad at Peter / Spider-Man. And this is what Spider-Man 3 is, like those messy emocore or emo metalcore bands (whatever is that subgenre), a non sensical noise with emotional lyrics and both things are dated and turned into a joke. .
