I hear people say “look good, feel good” all the time but I’ve learned that’s really not the case. It’s more like FEEL GOOD, LOOK GOOD. I tend to stay behind the camera, I’m the one taking photos, directing & I like it that way. Several of my awesome fam asked me what I did differently for this photo shoot & the only thing I did different was believe in myself. I just got back from vacation. I was stress free. I was proud of our team. I was happy to be there. I was excited about our event and all the planning I’ve put into it. And I was so ready to smile about that. Putting work in for yourself will make you feel good & in turn you’ll look good. Feel good = give off good energy. Feel good = look happy. Feel good = stay motivated. That’s how results are driven... from within. It will NEVER matter how much I tell you to get up and chase your goals...Until you want it bad enough, you won’t do the work. You have to want it bad enough. So if you want to feel good, if you want to look good, if you want to give off good energy - find your why, find what drives you from the inside & then run with it. That internal drive is what will light that fire. That is what will make you feel good. That is what will make you achieve your goals. And that is what will make you FEEL amazing! Beyond excited for our team & myself - the hard work we’ve put in the last 2.5 years and the last few months building up to this event Saturday. Come hang out. Come feel good. Come celebrate yourself. ❤️❤️❤️

Sometimes I don’t know what I’m going to say while I’m on the bike. But I know it’s going to be exactly what my students need to hear. Monday morning was all about the mental battle to get to a 6AM class. I shared with them,
“The hardest part is already over. You getting out of bed this morning and not hitting snooze is the hardest part. By being here right now, you already won.”
I consider myself a “morning person” but that doesn’t mean my brain doesn’t try and keep me in bed every single time my alarm goes off at 5AM.
Some of thoughts that run through my mind are: “OMG what the fuck is that sound?? Oh shit, it’s my alarm. Uggghhh I don’t want to get up. Why did I sign up to do this?! It’s not worth it. This is crazy. Naf go back to bed. Just sleep it’s going to feel so good.”
A lot of these thoughts can be totally rational and make sense in the moment but all they really are are bullshit programming.
Do you ever have absolutely ridiculous thoughts and you’re like, “where did that even come from?? That doesn’t even make sense or is totally irrational.”
Yeah so newsflash, don’t believe everything your brain tells you, it’s not all true.
You have the choice as to what thoughts to listen to. And you can decipher which ones are true for you and which ones aren’t.
So I challenge you, next time you hear that voice, are you going to listen and follow along blindly or are you going to challenge it and cut through the BS?
