we never got to pick Albus. when we (well.. I did) decided to get a dog we went to the nearest breeder and got signed up for a puppy from the litter she was having. little did we know that it was from some very prized japanese spitz and puppies from this litter was being sold internationally even. so as we weren’t lookong for a show dog we basically got the runt of the litter. I feel like Albus chose us ❤️ .
the breeder added pictures and videos of the pups on her facebook and when I saw this one little rascal who did not want to walk nicely I had a feeling that would be our guy 😅 i also took a picture of one pup when we went over and posted it on my personal instagram saying that this puppy was the one that came up to us the most. later i discovered that it was the puppy with the orange collar - Albus! it was meant to be. I’m happy we didn’t get to pick 🐾 .
side note: in Norway we have extremely few strays. i don’t think we have any, really. If one were found I’m pretty sure it would make the papers 😅 there are of course some dogs that needs new homes but often that’s dogs with a few problems or highly active dogs (border collies, huskies etc). as first time owners we decided to buy from a very experienced breeder. we wanted a super healthy dog and we got it. in countries where stray dogs aren’t a problem I feel it’s good to support serious breeders who keeps the wonderful breeds we have healthy. 🤗 I would love to one day have a rescue dog as well. and other breeds. To be honest I just want like 100 dogs.. 😅 anyways, I just wanted to add that information. i hope other contries with a lot of strays can get to the same place we are some day, but I know it’s such a huge global problem.😕
