Steve Cowley with a brilliant tip on how to keep bites coming when using sweetcorn! "I use sweetcorn a lot on the river this time of the year. With my choice being Bait-Tech Super Sweetcorn Natural I use it straight out of the tin and also flavour a certain amount as a hook bait change. Bait-Tech Stick Mix Liquids are perfect for this and I like to use small containers to equally flavour the amounts I require.
All I do is add the desired amount into each pot, add a liberal amount of your chosen flavour and then add water to mix together. I usually have three or four different changes available, being Natural, Pineapple, Scopex and Krill which surprised me to say the least. Sometimes one flavour may prove to be more successful on the day, but by having the alternatives available on your side tray, it can sometimes keep the bites coming when all else fails. I simply use a size 16 hook on the slider, and a size 16 or 14 on the feeder. Also it can be worth using a hair rig on the feeder, using a length of hair to suit either single or double corn, which can bring more positive bites and hook ups." #TeamBaitTech#Fishing#StickMix#fishinglife#matchfishing#polefishing#feeder#feederfishing#floatfishing#angler#angling#coarsefishing#summer#riverfishing#river#BaitTech
