One day late on national selfie day... Does this even count?!? Originally this was a snapshot/still of a video a friend took of me at a butterfly garden in Mindo, Ecuador. Those blue Morpho butterflies were way bluer than this watercolor painting!
#dodouatrewatch 1x22 “A Land Without Magic”
~ahhh here we go
~firstly, Graham’s entrance was so iconic. I loved they had him appear one more time so long after his death
~ugh the scene with Emma holding the book and believing. So powerful. & the swan queen fight in the closet omg
~don’t get me started on rumple mentioning belle in the forest because I got so emo. And when she actually appeared and escaped and they said they love each other, I was freaking tf out
~i forgot Jefferson let belle out, we stan a legend
~this was the last ep with David/ Mary Margaret drama and rewatching this season just made me realize how much I loved s1 them
~random thought but Regina crying into whale’s arms was random af
~finally my list of ICONIC AWESOME quotes from this ep; -“actually, he goes by Rumplestiltskin.”
-“She put a down payment on an apartment in Boston She’s not going to use it, but I am. Unless... you give me a reason to stay.”
-“it was a brief flicker of light amidst an ocean of darkness” (THIS JUST REMUNDED ME OF BELLE STANDING IN THE AFTERLIFE WAITING FOR HIM IN A SPOT OF LIGHT IM ACTUALLT CRYING)
-“saved some. for a rainy day.” “well, it’s storming like a bitch. where is it.”
-“you can save... all of...”
-“I gave you this book because I know that life doesn’t always have a happy ending”
TBT April 2018. Out in #SouthCentral leading a tour of @florencefirestone with Sonja, Kathi & Carolin from the Technical University of Munich @TU.Muenchen @architecture.tum. Their masters thesis examines racial inequity in urban design in the fragmented metropolitan area of #LosAngeles . . .
I was overjoyed to see their research proposal already drew upon the work of the late #EdwardSoja, my mentor at @UCLALuskin and a legend in #UrbanPlanning. I also recommended L.A.’s preeminent #Marxist historian #MikeDavis for their Literature Review . . .
The tour was illuminating and #FlorenceFirestone is now a case study site for their masters thesis ✊ We officially have international research being done on Florence-Firestone! And it was their experience on the ground in South Central that sealed it. This is #EmbeddedPlanning . . .
