Still getting used to wearing 2XL clothes y'all, after being a 3X guy for most of the past 10 years. Because of life, and aches and pains, I haven't been able to hit the gym as much as I would like, but I can still not eat like a jerk. I definitely miss carrying those extra pounds on log and continental cleans, though.
Up to 218 via @miss_cay . Took these because for once I kinda liked the way I looked and felt like it’d be a nice change to post some content like this instead of just Bench and deadlift videos.. We all have that body image issue, even the most jacked, shredded dudes.
When I first started this I wanted to be 160lbs, then 180lbs, then 200, then 220. Since I’ve started I’ve gained 90lbs. Ya mans wants to be 240 and wants to do a classic physique show one day. . Idk what’s up with the 20lb increments.
Don’t tell Caylea how much McDonald’s I actually eat. -

I wanted to share both these with you guys because I feel they both portray my shape very differently based on how I'm breathing, posing ect and I'm all about honesty... I feel pretty shit hot in both so neither of these are "good or bad" but it does prove that if I wanted to I coulda picked just one, the one that would get more likes or more #bodygoal comments, the one that makes me look more defined or slimmer 🙄 but that's not me... See me, all of me, accept I am not you and you are not me but we all deserve kind words and self love.
I love pushing myself where others can’t and I love pain. I love the feeling of lifting so heavy my eyes become cross eyed, I break blood vessels in my face, and it just plain HURTS. Sounds crazy I know, but the pressure that’s created when you feel like your head is going to burst is calming to me. 💥 When I was an endurance athlete, I loved the feeling of the painful lactic acid buildup, my body breaking down, failing me, and convincing myself to “keep going”. Although you can’t really compare strength vs endurance, lifting is more of an adrenaline rush for me because truth be told...if it’s heavy enough, you could die. Stupidity or passion...who knows. But I know one thing...it’s helped me go where others can’t. #strengthathlete#enduranceathlete#bdimeztraining#doboth 📸@iantravisbarnard
The Silver Dollar Deadlift event at World’s Ultimate Strongman (@wusdubai) that took place in Bab Al Shams Arena last month was electrifying. Beasts in the Middle East brought together the world’s strongest men to battle it out on one stage.
315x3 - Getting faster off the box. Glad I discovered box squats, because the monotony of squatting every day was definitely getting to me. This is a new trick in the box (pun intended), to keep me motivated. Happy squatting!
