Siguiente entreno; peso muerto . 🖤🖤🖤 #strongwoman#stronglegs#stronglife#strongsquat#squats#strongcouple#belt#pink#strongmotherfucker#goodvibes
ALANA 💪🏼 What a powerhouse! Consistently training 3-4 times a week as well as playing netball - “I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.” Lans has been at IFP almost a year & smashes every single session. Her never-say-die attitude & the effort she puts in to every session is a credit to her. With hard work & discipline, Alana has achieved some amazing results! Keep it up Lans, you’re killing it! 💥👊🏼
Are your favourite foods throwing you off track WEEKLY?! 🍨🍫🍡
Are your favourite foods stopping you from getting to your fat loss goals? Sure having balance and including these things into your diet is great and balance is needed for long term sustainability. -
However I know personally that a particular food could be your trigger food that may lead to a binge! 🤦🏽♀️
Simple Tricks and Tips for this ! -
1. Out of sight Out of Mind ! ( simply don’t have them in the house )
2. Try making an alternative lower calorie, higher protein snack that will help with these cravings. The higher protein will keep you more satisfied when on lower calories.
3. I would buy a single serving of something instead of the product in a large quantity. Eg. A single bag of popcorn not one giant one! A mini bar of chocolate not a huge one!
4. Team your fave foods with high volume filling foods! Eg having those sweet treats after a filling meal will be better than having the sweet treats first! As you will feel fuller from having a wholesome meal so you will be less likely to over indulge!
Honestly not gonna lie, with all this traveling and what not I haven’t been on it as much as I should be with the working out and eating right. But I guess this was my break! After my cruise I’ll be back at it hard again! ♥️💋
There are some things I need to change. And some things I am changing. Some things I need to let go of. And some things I already have. There are things I can do today that I couldn’t do two years ago. And there are things I can’t do yet that I want to do so bad. Things that I will do one day 🌈. ———————————————————
I don’t know what people see when they see something I posted or when they scroll my page. I don’t know what you guys see. But I hope with all my heart that what you see is someone who no matter what never ever gave up. Someone who didn’t let anyone tell her who she is or who she can’t be. I hope you guys see someone who went for it fiercely even though a lot of times that means going for it alone. And I hope that when you see that you know that you can do it too. No matter who you are or where you came from how far of a reach it may seem. Whatever the sacrifice is. I hope you can look at my progress or read whatever I write and be encouraged that there are other people in other places out there who are pushing past words, actions, labels, injuries, personal disbelief and whatever other barrier, and becoming exactly who they want to be. And if we can do it, so can you 💕💕.
Fitnessy thoughts after a busy week and a month of no make-up and bad hair days, but that’s just the way it goes 🤷🏻♀️. We’re all about #antiperfection, right?
How do you find time to train with four (homeschooled!) children? I get this question a LOT.
I want to live a strong life...for them and for myself. So I make a way.
Not a perfect way, mind you, but a consistent way. I don’t use excuses. And I don’t waste time or money on gimmicky products & false promises.
I hit the basics like it’s my job (nutrition, strength training, sleep, cardio) & get outside as often as I can. There are no shortcuts.
Also, committing to myself, by developing healthy habits and exercising discipline, equips me to better serve others. Letting myself down, time and time again (“I’ll do it tomorrow”), is fruitless.
Personal growth, physical or otherwise, comes with consistency. And I dig that. 💝💪 Show up for yourself. #justdoit#stronglife
