And this here ladies and gents is ONE of the many reasons why America is fat. What’s advertised as healthy, natural, organic, etc is NOT. Notice how there’s no dietary fiber. In my past, this is the avg drink I’d pick up to enjoy. But then I got edumacated 🤓
Fruit contains fructose... which can only be metabolized in the liver. There is only so much your liver can handle that once it can’t absorb anymore, fat is slowly formed and insulin resistance is on the horizon.
Remember, sugar molecules are practically identical in structure therefore your body has the same response even if it is coming from a fruit.
According to the American Heart Association, the average woman should consume no more than 25 grams of sugar/day; average man about 37 grams of sugar/day.
In this case, you might as well have a 39g of sugar Cola. Bottom line: Eat your fruit whole instead!

Sugar itself does not inherently cause you to gain fat. Eating more calories than you burn is what causes your body to gain fat. .
All carbs whether they come from sugar or oats or veggies are 4 calories per gram. Your body takes all carbs and coverts them into simple sugars to be used for energy. High glycemic carbs like sugar we just used for energy quicker. Slow digesting “complex” carbs are still broken down into simple sugars but at a slower rate leading to more sustained energy
Do not fear sugar. Eating a couple pieces of candy or adding BBQ sauce to your chicken will not ruin your diet. Just be careful how much you consume because the calories add up very quick
