40 weeks pregnant > 13 weeks postpartum .
It’s crazy to think about what’s really going on inside a pregnant belly. We all know and recognize that a baby is growing, but y’all!! The freakin miracles that are taking place daily are just flat out mind blowing! 🤯 The simple fact that our bodies innately know what to do to grow a human from a little seed to a full on watermelon will just never seem real to me. 🙏🏽 .
Same goes for this postpartum journey. Our bodies want to move back to homeostasis after all the miraculous upset, but even though our bodies innately know what to do, it’s up to us to feed it correctly, move it well and treat it the best it’s ever been treated after that major, almost full year, crazy, sometimes painful, lots of time exhausting, growing of a human being. .
Give yourself grace today as your body learns where it needs to go. You’ve just performed an absolute miracle after all. ❤️
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT 🙋🏻♀️. This Is somewhat of a new part of my daily routine for me. I read a few books in the personal development category for fun in the past, but I never made it a part of my day or a priority in my day. But as I really focus on trying to set a routine for myself I don’t want it to only involve health as in eating healthier but also heath as in making me more well rounded. I am finding that personal development fits in perfectly. I think personal development can be very wide spectrum of topics. To me anything that is going to improve my well-being or my life is personal development. So I’m curious how many of you take part in routine personal development, not that it has to be daily because everybody’s lives are super busy but that it’s something regular that you do. This is fall! Sunny yet breezy. Leggings with an extra long sleeved shirt (anyone else love shirts with longer sleeves to hide your hands). Enjoying the weather outside and just chilling. Lazy Monday’s are my favorite. It’s rest day so no early workout. I will be doing some yoga later and maybe an afternoon walk.
