Yes I'm flexing because it's Friday but also because I'm super proud that I completed the workout today! I have felt awful all day. Anxiety can do that; it's literally made me feel physically ill. I haven't felt the physiological effects of the anxiety as severe as this in a long time. Eating has been a chore. It's really hard to eat when you feel like you're going to throw up! Don't worry, I have gotten all my regular meals in but it's weird to have no appetite. Okay don't get me wrong, I'm not dying but it's just crazy how anxiety can cause all of these physical symptoms! It wreaks havoc on so much more than just your mind. That's why, if you're a fellow anxiety warrior, you are just that, a warrior! Not only do you have to be in battle with your mind, but sometimes you have to battle your mind while feeling like you can't even eat or function. & with that I’m done my 2 weeks of CrossFit training. Now time to join in with the big kid class 💪🏻 PS - I’ve gotta say, it was intimidating as hell to sign up for something totally new as an adult without a partner in crime or anyone I knew in general. I’ve felt awkward, insecure and out of place. But the reward of pushing past my own mental limits has been beyond gratifying and so happy I gave this a shot. Lesson learned, if it makes ya uncomfortable it’s probably worth doing. || #ChooseYou
