Pictorial photography has held a big share in the history of photography.
These photos are related to poetry and have a romantic view to the world.
Now to recite this poem, the photographer avoids a direct look to the outside world. Instead, by creating a scenery that light plays an important role in it, a soft camera focus and bringing changes in printing process, makes a dramatic structure.
I took this photo by removing the lens, and using a black card on the aperture to provide a small hole for the light to get through.
Here, the absence of lens has decreased the clarity of the picture and turned the photo to an old memory at the back of the mind.
Here I am slightly overcooking a turn at the @skylinemtb race yesterday, which must’ve given @_wint_ an advantage because there’s no way he would beat me under normal circumstances 🤦🏻♂️ Cool roost tho #tate 📷 @coxyanga 📷
Museums, art centers, and nonprofit foundations are very crucial in the art world because they offer public access to art and help to foster the growth of the art world by cultivating artists and organize exhibitions with donations and grants from the society.
However, the current engagement model between the public and the art organizations are still very one-dimensional, where the public can only take a photo of the artwork or make small donations and cannot actively engage with the artworks from the organization.
This limits the number of visitors to the art organizations and prevents them from doing more beneficial projects because they will not be able to raise sufficient funding with limited publicity.
Only the mega art centers, foundations, and museums are getting all the support, where tons of regional organizations are diminishing day by day.
With FRESCO, we propose a change where people can get blockchain editions of the physical artworks from art organizations.
Through this new way of engagement, we generate more focus and asset for the art organizations without misaligning from its purpose as a social institution.
Giving everyone the chance to own a piece of Picasso or Warhol on blockchain, is what we seek to achieve! 🚀
