I read an article that said that if you really want to wake up in the morning to have 2 glasses of ice cold water right when you wake up and then a glass of cold or hot mint or peppermint tea and a piece of fruit. This is supposed to be just as affective as caffeine. I've been infusing (lol) herbal tea into my daily routine. As it sits, when I used to drink coffee I limited (really) myself to 3-6 ounce cups of strong coffee a day. With tea though I'm chugfest 3000. And I'm trying to be caffeine free slowly but surely.
After trying all kinds of tea in the last couple months it all boils down to these two, and regular green tea comes in third. I love Constant Comment. I drink it all day. I use the Tension Tamer as a sleep and anxiety medication. And I crave the flavor of it. And I have at least a cup of green tea everyday. 😎
