It has been 4 days since it was mine and my fellow classmate's MA show, I must say it has been one hell of an experience from start to finish.
It is sad to think that my Masters is over now, 15 months sounds like a long time but it flies by when you are having fun! I do not see this as an end of a chapter but the start of an amazing journey ahead, full of mystery and the unknown but that is what life is about.
I would like to say a massive thank you to Agnes Treplin, Donatella Barbieri,Marion Yarwood, Peta Lily , Jennifer Irons and Alexander Lutley and everyone else that has been involved with making the "MA Costume Design for Performance" course one amazing experience in pushing the boundaries in costume and performance.
It has opened me up to narrative within costume pushing me out of my comfort zone. I could never have achieved this without the guidance of such amazing practitioners as well as the backing from friends and family who supported me not to give up on my ambitions as a designer.
Costume is not an only a career to me but a passion I could not think of doing anything else in life that gives me so much fulfillment and happiness. Seeing costume come to life is the greatest feeling, knowing you helped to achieve something that inspires others giving laughter, sadness, and human interaction.
It has been a pleasure to have worked by the side of so many diverse, creative and inovotive designers, I will miss you all greatly. We are like a small dysfunctional family that has ups and downs but we all share the same passion which is inspiring others within costume. #1990s#retro#textures#film#designer#design#film#costumedesign#england#costumedesigner#story#warnerbros#film#royaltheatre#fashion#lcf#original#fashiongraduate#performance#stephenking#theatrical#drama#fashiondesigner#instagood#millinery#timwalker#lace#costume
