I’m at home with my family today! Raise your hand if your thankful for your beautiful kids 🙋🏻♀️. We’re headed to the Apple orchard today... how about you all?
Now that it’s officially fall, I might pick up some pumpkins today at the farm and work on some mantels and tablescapes👏👏👏 .
Did you all catch my latest InstaStories? I've collaborated on a gorgeous beauty-inspired collection with my local boss-babe friend Olivia of @forestchildnaturalbeauty! She had the grand opening of her beautiful studio yesterday and I was happy that this new collection could be a part of that! You can find these prints in her studio or online in my shop! Shop local, support local! 🛍 #ÉlanaCamilleCreates #shoplocal
I know I haven’t been posting very much on Instagram lately. That’s because I’ve been spending a lot of time working on a project I’m excited to finally share. If you know me then you’re aware of my borderline obsession with interior design and design in general. I realized a while back that I needed a real outlet for that passion and after getting advice and encouragement from friends and family, I’ve decided to start my own blog. It’s called Hearth and Home and it’s for anyone who wants a well designed home (or apartment), but finds the process of design intimidating. I’ve included a link in my bio and I hope you’ll check it out (and let me know what you think!)
Happy Sunday sweet friends! Random fact about me: My husband and I have been married almost fifteen years (❤️!) and we, by God’s grace and prompting started a Bible church in our living room eight years ago (@paradoxftworth). It’s crazy what God can do with two hot-mess young people who once had a very difficult marriage. I still show up most Sundays in total awe that anyone even came to our little living-room church, and in total awe that God would provide a way for two hot-mess people to grow in the knowledge of Christ (and continue to do so) and have a front row seat of the beauty of the way the church loves one another and Jesus, and the perfect way Jesus loves his broken church. To stand back and witness hundreds of people with transformed lives and those in the midst of transformation, worship the same good God is such a gift! I’m sure this little post only makes 75% sense but all you need to know is that I’m feeling the feels this morning and can’t wait to worship this morn with a thankful heart that God restores, equips, and never stops building up and redeeming his people. 🙌🏼
Happy Sunday! indeed! 😃
This past weekend I’ve met a few large insta milestones! Friday’s flower pic, was my first ever to cross the 1k likes! As of this morning over 1300! Of you thought it was worthy of some love! I’m speechless! 😲 Beyond that I’ve reached, and surpassed 3000 followers! Wowza! Thank you and welcome to all of my recent followers! 🤗💕 And a hearty thanks to my oldies but goodies, for your continued support! 💝
I’d really like to take the opportunity to Thank each and every one of you! I’ve always been a colour lover, but I would often restrain myself, from taking things further. These past few months since joining IG, our home has gotten even more bold, colourful and personal.
I feel such gratitude to have stumbled on to a like minded community of people, who are just as passionate about decorating their homes as I am. A place where we can collectively squeal; when someone finds the most awesome roadside treasure or thrift, or kills it with a DIY, Snags a most coveted item on sale, or goes all out and splurges on whatever, because it was well worth it, and brings you joy! 🙌🏽 😍You’ve all inspired me, to take things to the next level. To not hold back, and to let my personality shine via my home.
Sharing a simple selfie snap of me. This is me Faith, the person behind the squares. Selfie it is, as I don’t own a tripod, have yet to master the pic timer stuff, and I catch spontaneous pics, quite infrequently. I take all of my pics with my iPhone 6, so it makes sense that my “portrait” would be taken, same as all of my others. 🤷🏽♀️ Snapped last week, when I was somewhat presentable, and wearing my anthro sale necklace. 😉
35 years old, born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Now live in Israel with my Canuck husband, our two daughters, our dog Pickle, a lionhead rabbit named Duchess, and 2 guinea pigs Luli & Bella! And an ever multiplying family of plants! ☺️ After my family, the most important thing to me is creating, & maintaining, a happy and thriving home! I strive to always make things better, than they were before!
Thank you all so very much, for your support & encouragement! It’s means the world to me! Have a wonderful Sunday! ❤️
Anyone else feel like it's time to put the heating on already? My flat is freeeezing
I recently switched from British Gas to Bulb after getting a letter in the post to say my bills were increasing from £36 a month to £158 a month
It turned out that my electric heaters are RIDICULOUSLY energy inefficient and so I'd used more electricity last winter than I was paying for. Not sure why British Gas decided to leave it so late to tell me. Surely it would have made more sense to contact me months ago and increase my bills at a much more modest rate
Now that I've switched, I'm paying £40 a month to Bulb while also paying my £158 a month debt to British Gas 😭
Looks like I'm gonna be piling on the blankets and not leaving my bed until March
Oh yeah... If you fancy switching energy providers and wanna give Bulb a go, use my affiliate link and we'll both get £50 credit 😉https://bulb.co.uk/refer/jenniferh9028
Good bye, Texas, you were good to me. Listened to every nugget of wisdom from Shea @studiomcgee and Alyssa @alyssarosenheck . Was inspired by the space of the @thevintageroundtop . Made a bunch of memories with Meredith @viewfrommyheels . She and I haven’t stopped chatting all things interiors, business and then some. Seriously. We’re still talking...
So then, this is it. Tomorrow is moving day. My anxiety has been at an all time high since Wednesday as it’s all become very real, very quickly. I’m still not sure how I feel about everything but I’m hoping that the unsettled nauseous feeling I’ve had these past few days will start to pass once all my stuff is in and my biggest worry is putting nails in the walls. Thank you to everyone that’s checked up on me these past few days, it’s meant the world xo
Sunny Sundays. 🌿 It’s been sooooooo lovely and warm here this weekend, but I must admit I’m a little jealous of all the autumn photos I’ve been seeing today. I need to watch a low-budget Halloween-themed Hallmark movie ASAP. 🤭🍂
Happy Sunday! It's officially Autumn, although it's felt like it for a couple weeks now. I'm off out for lunch today to catch up with Mum, so I'll be digging out the cosy knits, scarves and ankle boots. Currently wishing my bridesmaid bouquet would stick around forever, it's the perfect pop of colour on my dining table 💖💖💖
