For a great family day out, pack a picnic basket and visit Zuiderpark. There is more than one playground and a really big climbing area for children. The rose garden is beautiful to walk through and there is always something going on. The little steam trains are great for children and there is a waterside restaurant if you didn’t pack a picnic basket.
Zuiderpark will also host the Milan Summer Festival on August 3,4 and 5.

Feest #aanzee Exactly 200 years ago, Jacobus Pronk built the first bathhouse in Scheveningen, a small wooden structure containing four seawater bathtubs. This gave rise to the first seaside resort in the Netherlands. Since 1818, the fishing village has evolved into a lively seaside resort that attracts a wide public. The year-round annual programme Seaside Celebration kicks off on 1 January 2018 with the Unox New Year Dive and ends on 31 December 2018 with Bonfires. Major attractions include the Volvo Ocean Race, the International Fireworks Festival and also the Sand Sculpting World Championships, held in The Hague.
