I’m thinking yogurt, instant oats, preboiled eggs (I think they have them at trader joes), fruit, bagged salad, maybe make a protein box, sandwiches, string cheese, beef jerkey🤷♀️

I'll be using this week leading up to the challenge to get as much in order as I can. Stock up on essentials like protien powder, get all my laundry done, organize my workout gear, prep and freeze as many healthy, easy meals as I can. I have yet to complete a feel challenge, but I more prepared then ever this month. I've also decided to do this month adult beverage free, 🥂🚫🍻 because having a couple glasses almost always leads me to snacking or feeling too yucky to meal prep and workout on the weekends. (This will be the hardest part!) I would love an accountability partner who is also going booze-free. Anyone else doing a sober October? 🤣

When the calendar says Fall but the sun says “nahhhhh”
Post workout cardio in the pool because burpees are hard. Soak up the last few moments of heat and don’t lose that momentum! It’s so easy to let go of some of the baits you’ve been building for yourself, whether it’s fitness, financial (hello Black Friday), socially, or just in general. The days get shorter, the air gets chilly, and the blankets get thicker. Embrace that comfort, but don’t get stuck in your comfort zone! Just a TIU girl showing her swag in the wild 😆 Officially rolling into the first week of FALL 🍂 ... which means we are SEVEN days away from the #tiu31 fall challenge 🤗 I’m all signed up and ready to set concrete habits before the holidays roll around. In 31 days a lot can change, so I’m setting realistic goals of what I hope to accomplish besides getting my workouts scheduled (& done✔️), following the nutrition guide, and completing the daily moves👇🏻👇🏻 1. Commit to my intentions
2. Get up early. While the sun isn’t shining bright and early, I want to get my body moving so I can enjoy some morning and post-work sun.
3. Move my body. Walk as much as I can before winter arrives ❄️ even if that means hopping on the treadmill to reach 10K steps 🏃🏻♀️
4. Confidence - stop being hard on myself and judging every roll or wrinkle in my body 💁🏻♀️ the “snack” pouch on my body isn’t so terrible after all 🤣

There’s not that many healthy options on campus, so I generally go for a salad because honestly it’s nice to have all of the fresh ingredients ready to throw together. I feel so silly but I was so excited that they had arugula for once! 😂😋 Also! Ladies! I used to be SO picky when I first started the nutrition plan. No croutons. No cheese. Nothing but clean ingredients. But let’s be real, we all have cravings we need to satisfy, and a small portion of anything is okay! (BTW these croutons are AMAZING because they’re made with leftover garlic bread - def one of my cravings.) So don’t be so hard on yourself if you add a little somethin’ somethin’ to make your meal more enjoyable! This is actually my greatest superpower and I didn’t realize it. Have you ever wanted something to change so bad but DIDNT change your mindset first? We grilled lots of veggies, added beans, guacamole, salsa and lots of cilantro. Sooo good 😍 it was also a fun way to eat together from one plate 🤩
