But it’s important to take a step back, take a deep breath, and remember that we’re all our own little fish trying to find out own ways in a great big ocean. When you arrive home at 3 am to check your mail and get a glitter infested happy card from your bestie @jleannen ❤️❤️ Tonight on my way home I was listening to a podcast from @kalynnicholson13 and this phrase stuck with me: “Stop beating yourself up for what you’re doing wrong and focus on what you need to be doing and making those things fun to do.” Something I need to keep in mind as I try to refocus and get back to where I want to be!
Despite sleeping poorly, having to come to work 3 hours early, and caving on all food today (think Baconator and French fries and a cupcake) I still got into the gym on my break. Since I did Arms yesterday I did booty and core today followed by 2.6 miles on the bike!

The filter is needed because I just spent 2.5 hours on a spin bike! I finally tried something I’ve always wanted to try I got up on the podium at spin class and taught a song. I was so nervous I forgot everything! I kept changing my lead leg, I forgot how to queue the next move, and I totally got the pace wrong but who cares I did it and that’s all that matters!! I’m so proud of myself. @cyclebarcolumbiapike

Yesterday I was feeling the most stressed I’ve felt yet at work, but I survived! Actually I ended up boring the students, but hey, always a work in progress.

The last 3 days I’ve been going to be at 9:30, getting a full nights rest and waking up SO ENERGIZED at my 4:55am alarm for the 5am studio class! I end up having so much time after that I’m able to do another studio class or the DMs, enjoy my coffee, scroll through insta, without rushing my morning away 💃🏼
@katrinaascott and @karenadawn have told us so many times how important having a morning routine is, and as hard as it can be to find that routine and stick with it, it feels so good when you finally do! 💕💕

Looking through old photos last night I realized that I have almost no full body pictures, and I started to think about why this was...
While I never really thought of myself as fat, I also was never happy with my body. I always would say “I just need to lose 10lbs, and then I’ll be happy!” I would do crazy fasting diets and workout a lot for a few weeks before any kind of vacation where I would be in a👙Obviously those habits don’t create lasting results and my weight would go right back up afterwards.
Looking back I think subconsciously I only took selfies because I was embarrassed by how much weight I had gained in college. I wasn’t happy with my body and I was reaching a major fork in the road...I could either continue to gain weight and hating myself, or I could start taking care of myself mentally, emotionally, and physically!
I can never say enough how grateful I am to have found @toneitup when I did💕💕💕 This amazing fitness and nutrition program taught me how to live a healthy lifestyle every single day🙌🏼 I now have a much healthier relationship with food and make conscious decisions about what I choose to fuel my body with🥑🥗🍉🍌🥒😋 I also have a new found love for working out and ❤️❤️❤️that the Studio Tone It Up app has introduced me to so many new types of workouts, like kickboxing, barre, and HIIT🏋🏻♀️🥊💪🏼 The biggest transformation I experienced though was the mental and spiritual one! Tone It Up has taught me to genuinely love myself💖

Sunday night I stayed up way too late so I was riding that struggle bus 🚎 😴till lunchtime yesterday. But now I’m ready to conquer this Tuesday!
Sometimes you workout at 9:30 at night in your house clothes 😂🤷🏼♀️ my workday ended on a stressful note with sheltering in place hoping no tornadoes came through downtown RVA. I work on the 16th floor so I was happy to move to a lower level!
Trying out the first week of the #lgfallchallenge to see how I like her workouts! So far so good! W1D1 complete!
Well I certainly outdid myself this Monday morning 😬 This is teriyaki marinated pork with red peppers, onions, and zucchini from my @hungryharvest box. I also meal prepped taco salad and a breakfast sandwich and like an idiot I left my breakfast sandwich at home 😑.
My @hungryharvest haul this week! If you have never tried cage free eggs I strongly recommend you give them a try...they are so fluffy and have so much flavor. I’m going to steam the 🥦 and eat it with 🐟, the pepper for 🐖 kabobs, the 🥗 for 🦃🌮🥗, and the rest for snacks 😋. #hungryharvest
It’s been a great Sunday! Enjoyed brunch with @moralesd2 and completed my meal prepping for the upcoming week.
Along with the usual salads and carrots/hummus, I baked some salmon and roasted chickpeas and broccoli.
