So our first meeting was something beyond dorky. I had seen a white and red wig in the distance and was beyond excited as it was my first Con ever and there was a Todoroki cosplayer just over there.
My friends ,who had to put up with me squealing and shuffling in joy at the cosplays before I had even entered the centre were used to me running up and asking random cosplayers for photos at this point, were not surprised when I started weaving through the crowds like I was on a mission towards this cosplayer.
Emily had seen my green hair and with the same excitment I had yelled out "DEKU" to the blob of a mess that was me.
We almost simultaneously asked each other for a photo together (the last and worst photo) and after that we parted ways until the MHA Meetup.
When we saw each other again I noticed she was alone and asked if she wanted to join my friends and I for the day. She said yes for some god unknown reason and since then we have been the closest of friends.
We message each other daily whether that be memes, fanfic recs or even just to vent. It's insane that a friendship like this came from something so small as a picture.
Now we just need to find time off work together to hang out because we do live so far apart and can't see each other often and we need to start working on our cosplays for next year.
"Stuck together - even though they're members of the same mafia family they often don't get along well. Which doesn't mean they won't fight together, against the same enemy, or for the sake of the family." It was a blast (pun intended) shooting with this amazing Todo, our pics are all h🔥t and I can't wait to post more👀
