SIMPLE TENSION HEADACHE RELIEF ✅
Many of times, tension headaches can be caused by this group of small muscles within the subocciptal triangle. This is usually caused by poor posture, which is so normal in our current society. Pain from the suboccipital muscles commonly feels like a band wrapping around the head.
Here is a simple exercise that you can perform with a peanut roller (or two lacrosse balls taped tgt):
1. Place the roller on the suboccipital muscles.
2. You would wanna to lean against the wall (demonstrated here) or like down on the floor
3. Perform chin tucks (think double chin!!) and apply pressure onto the muscles
4. Repeat 10-15 times 👍🏼
This is possibly the only time a forming double chin is beneficial 😛 tag someone who has headaches or can make a better double chin than me! 💪🏼
