Emily and Robynne were awesome sports this afternoon when I told them I had an idea but hadn’t actually tried it yet! WHAT A WEDNESDAY 💪🏽 So today I hit a 1RM PB of 95kg YEAH BABY 🎉 (Sumo) Deadlifts aren’t my strongest lift but today I was just feeling it. I didn’t set out to do some testing (especially as I did a 5x5 at 80kg beforehand) but I just rolled with it and challenged myself 🕺🏼 I didn’t believe I could do this (as you can tell by the genuine shock on my face) but luckily I had @benlombard_function360 doing that for me (as you can hear) 🙌🏽 It just goes to show that you are capable of much more thank you think 💫

Friends don’t let friends train alone...
Here are just three reasons why you should get a training buddy:
1. Less excuses and more motivation: You may think of a thousand excuses not to train – tired, bad weather, good movie is on…the list can go on. A training buddy will motivate you to get moving. After all, it would be embarrassing to tell your friend “you didn’t feel like it”.
2. It is more fun: It is important you enjoy your training, you should have fun and laugh. A friend will help make your training sessions more fun and interesting
3. They will push you to go that extra punch, squat, sprint, spin…. We all need that little encouragement sometimes. .
