Hey guys, deadlifts are king when it comes to the posterior chain aka backside of body. Done right they can really add power, speed, and balance to your body.
Start with 3-4 sets @ 10-12 reps to get comfortable
Once you feel comfortable you can up to a weight that you can lift for 5 reps but not be able to do more than 8.
So when you see rep ranges like 5-8 reps, that's what they mean.
Whenever I go heavier than 80% or max out my form starts to break down like above so its best to stay in that 80-85% of max with 5-8 reps for most of the time. But once in a while its great to see what your max is.
Always track your weights if your intention is to improve.

It can hurt a little when you start to realise who would throw you under the bus if given the chance and who truely has your back every moment of every day. But when you’re evolving it’s bound to happen. •
The moment that you stop making excuses for selfish people and sit back and observe how they treat others, speak to and of others and how they make use of thier day can really open your eyes and shed light on who they really are. Sometimes it’s ugly and you feel like you’ve been blindfolded. •
People have asked me if I’m ok a lot lately, I simply say I’m fine.. Sometimes I’m not but I don’t want them to know that. That’s because there are people out there who think it’s ok to use your weaknesses against you. To belittle you. Even when you open up to them and tell them something is not ok and you’re struggling. That’s right there is why so many people use “I’m fine”. Because some people only listen to speak. To gossip. To feel power over someone who is struggling. That shit is just not ok. And frankly I’m over it. Get off your high horse and be a decent human being and look after those beside you. It costs nothing to be genuinely good to people. •
I’ve worked through a lot on my own and yes that’s my choice to do it that way.
