We've got a really special guest for you all for Ep. # 27 of the H.o.T Podcast 🔥🎙- which is now live! This week's guest is the first Pro and Ironman World Champ to come on the show and we can't think of anyone better for it than "The Man" himself, Mr. Dave Scott, 6x Ironman World Champ (along with three 2nd place finishes & a 5th place at the age of 42!), and the first person to go under 8:30 in Kona. Dave Scott’s personal Triathlon journey paralleled the early history of the Ironman Triathlon. His accomplishments on the Big Island of Hawaii even led to him becoming the very first inductee into the Ironman Triathlon Hall of Fame.
It was a real pleasure talking and listening to this legend of the Triathlon world about his journey, his mindset, his relentless & intense approach, his love for exercise, some of his (very accurately-detailed and) insightful and fun stories, and also his coaching, training, and racing philosophies.
If there's something this episode shows us, it's that - the top people in this beautifully-brutal sport (or in any field for that matter), they're not that different from everyone else. But, as Dave himself says, It all comes down to one thing - Mindset! So make sure to tune in because it's not an episode to miss!

Thank you, @davescott6x! Keep Tri'ing! 🏊🚴🏃 #humansoftriathlon#ordinarypeopleextraordinarypassion
Post race with the whole crew! Thank you so much for the support, encouragement, sacrifices and everything that goes into it my dearest @asfarinaa definitely and #ironwomen in it's own special definition.. Love u guys to the moon and back!
Nothing beats the celebration at home with this lil one! And listening to her telling/recapping the day from her view.. Proud #tridad moment.. Times like this makes u feel it's all worth so much more.. And it's not just a race that u do for urself anymore..
How it started; how it was in the run; how it ended (note: that's not my finish time, was too busy enjoying the buffet in recovery area).. And that's a wrap for this year's #im703langkawi yesterday! I'm very happy with the outcome.. Mind felt good and in control.. Body survived.. Raced as planned, executed to the best possible outcome.. Am a happy #triathlete and #tridad crossing the finish line for my 10th half iron distance.. Looking forward for many more adventures!
Biggest thanks to my greatest supporter @asfarinaa for leading the whole troop to be there! It definitely made a difference!
What a season!
I was a teamplayer my whole life, but this spring it was time time for something new what really challenges me 🧗♂️.
Very spontaniously, I competed at the Fishermans Ultra Strongman Run with 40km, 1000+m elevation gain and multiple obstacles. It was extremly hard but showed me what I'm capable of 💪🏼.
Due to an agreement with a good friend, I'll compete at the Ironman 70.3 Switzerland next year 🏊♂️🚴♂️🏃♂️.
Thought it would make sense to do some shorter Tri's before and registred for my first ever Triathlon in Uster over the short distance. That's where it really got me 👊.
Directly after that, I got the opportunity to sign up for free for the Challenge Davos where I finished my first Triathlon over the olympic distance.
Additionally, I met a lot of great people and I'm now member of a great Tri-team, managed by a very nice guy who is giving great opportunities also to non-pro athletes 🙏!
Really looking forward to next season which surely will include several new and even harder competitions and challenges as last season.
Just need to train hard, have fun and believe in myself (and not to forget: learning to crawl of course...... 🏊♂️😂)
Excited to be selected for the initial FOBRO class of 2019. To be part of this amazing community and brand is exciting. Looking forward to motivating and inspiring others to not only swim, bike and run but to embrace the lifestyle. Thank you @foherco for this awesome opportunity, and I can’t wait to experience the support at my next race.
Final check and tune up by the pro mechanic.. All to be sure that the steed is all set for the new adventure! Come what may we'll be ready..
Thank you @faizaldreamwerkz for the quick check and tune up.. Loving ur work as always!
Great to see how much this sport has grown in Sabah since I started back in 2012.. Biggest contingent from Sabah this year to Ironman Malaysia (still missing 2 triathlete as they were still stuck at the airport at the time).. 15 pax to compete in either full or half distance.. May it be a great one for everyone! And may it brings us all together more for the love of this sport!
She came running to me the moment I'm out of the Ironman Malaysia swim practice area.. Such a feeling that was.. And that's not even at a race yet!
May one day she'll be out her toeing her own race too..
