Cycling shorts...just not flattering on anyone are they?🤷🏻♀️🤣Took Tues-Sat off for recovery from Boston. I had planned to do something Sat, but was sick. Yesterday I tried an easy run on the treadmill - made it 1.5 miles before my left hamstring and calf told me I wasn’t ready yet. So I will give it a few more days before running. And so now it’s time to work on my skills, distance and intensity in the cycling and swimming dept. And so my next adventure begins....
Time to switch gears for this summer/fall and take on my 1st full season of triathlons. It’s a big one, y’all: an Olympic tri in May, 4 sprint’s June-Sept, half ironman 70.3 in Sept, a 1/3 full IM distance in Oct and a 2nd half Ironman in Nov! Wow!! Gotta try something new for a bit. Info on distances below. I will try to maintain my running fitness and keep up with my strength & conditioning + weights 1-2x a week. Gonna have to find that balance. Hoping to gain strength and take on my spring marathon season next year stronger than ever!!!
