A week where I have been impatient to see gains, leanness and to get stronger. Was reminded today that it's not possible to have it all at once. You take it one day at a time. Been a #weekendwarrior this week. A couple sessions during a busy week, then hitting shoulders and biceps today, chest and triceps yesterday. Learned better technique on bench press and bicep curl which is helping the mind-muscle connection.
Gains are considerable at the moment. Jumped from 212 last week to 216 this week, lean gains are probably only half of that, the rest water weight as I bump up calories. Monitoring carefully. Looking leaner today so it must have been clean gains.

This last week of training as been FUN! Without training goals in place sometimes it's easy to just go through the motions...
I feel I've been doing that for a while but this last week the switch has been flicked and damn does it feel good 💪🏼
If anyone feels the same switch your training up! Whether it's muscle group splits, PPL, more functional training.. don't let it stagnate, your body will adapt and progression will be hindered..

I said I was going to do nothing today, that quickly changed - as the day went on i started to get hungry, watching the clock for the next meal 🤦♀️.. sooo instead I went out to see the famo with the parents.. top prep tip, DO STUFF, I’m generally never just doing nothing & always find when I say I’m going to do nothing I end up hungry/bored .. I’m not good at doing nothing basically 😂🤦♀️ - I guarantee, if you stay social & busy on prep.. you’ll have a much more pleasant experience even if it’s just gym hopping / cinema trips / coffee dates / sober nights out / anything with family & friends. in my first year of prep I found my self hiding away.. I think we all go through this, but honestly just do stuff with your people we only get this one life, make the most of everyday prep doesn’t have to stop you doing things.. on the other hand doing nothing is fine, sometimes you can become so tired that you need a day of nothing.. just find a healthy balance ❤️👏
