I loved exploring the narrow streets of the old town, they weave all around and you find new pockets of shops, cafes and viewing points. Sometimes you can imagine walking through the cobbles during the middle ages being greeted by horse carriages and knights around the corner 🐴🏰🌠
Oh the times we had baby. Myself and @mister_lavin created some magical memories together exploring Tallinn with @visitestonia It reminded me of all the times we had together both good and really bad and it makes me smile when I think of how strong we are together. Yesterday @liveloveruntravel asked us to share the meaning behind our instahandle and I’ve shared this story before but thought it might be a good idea to share it here again
I get asked so many times where the name for my shop and for blog means. The simple answer is that, translated, it means lilac rose and this was my mum's favourite flower. My mum's name was Mary Rose and she had me when she was 20 so growing up my mum, myself and my sisters were super close. Unfortunately we lost her way too early after she died of a heart attack on the night of my sister's wedding. She was only 55! I had just started to notice how ill I was and how I was struggling to maintain my life. I loved my job as a medical scientist but something had to give and my ability to work a high pressured 9-5 job was the first thing to suffer. I still had intense pressure to pay the bills so I feel deep down my mum gave me the courage to start my Etsy shop RosaLilla (she was an artist too) and I knew I would always have that connection to her by naming it after her favourite flower. So now you know! Being able to be artistic and creative during the darkest days of lyme disease has kept me sane and I know my mum helped point me in this direction and now after two full years away from work I’m returning to the job I love on Monday. Thank you mum for giving me the strength I need and @mister_lavin for sharing this journey with me

They might be talking behind your head
Your exterior world can step off instead
It might take some friends and a warmer shirt
But you don't get thick skin without getting burnt
No, I don't know which way I'm going
But I can hear my way around...
There is a very special place in Muhu Island, Estonia - Muhu Veinitalu.
My go to vacation place while visiting my home country.
It's Estonia's first winery. You can see how they grow cold weather grapes, experience outstanding food & feel the island magic.
This delightful rose wine won my heart. Different, fresh & vibrant.
See you next summer, mi beautiful Estonia.
