Hello, I think this is the first time I have ever addressed Megs followers as myself instead of her. I have been dreading writing this post, despite the fact that I have been anticipating it for quite sometime now. As much as it pains me to write this I feel like all of megs followers were her family so have the right to know what happens and when. At 11:15 today (Saturday the 22nd of September) we let Meg go to start a new journey on her own. Old age had taken its toll and she could no longer walk around which is no life for anything; let alone a dog. So we did what we knew was right despite the fact it has caused us a lot of pain. My nana has had meg since she was 7 months old all the way to her almost hitting 12 years... and we have all loved her every single minute of it - god only knows where the time has gone! Honestly there was no amount of mud she could roll in, no item she could eat, nothing ever upset me about Meg, she was my best friend and my first dog, I will love her eternally and will forever be grateful for the happiness she brought to myself and others. I just hope that we made her as happy as she made us, and I will always aim to love any dog I get in the future as much as I loved Meg, because that love was and still is unconditional. I also wanted to thank you all so much for your support in the past five or so years on Instagram with both @bigfatbrowndog and @whatalab, it has been crazy how much all of you loved her like I did, and I was honoured to be able to share her with the world! I was shocked at all the brilliant opportunities you all gave us: whether it was being sent free toys and treats (which always made her day), being offered the chance to help host events in London or even being in a book! I would honestly encourage everyone to share their dog, because it brings me great comfort knowing that she not only she made myself, my family and friends happy, but that she might have made other people smile too!
I cannot thank you all enough for coming on our journey together.
RIP Meg(atron), I will always love you and never forget the amazing life you shared with me, I am so proud of you💙🐾
Super excited to officially announce that I have a new sister! We drove 3.5 hours last Sunday to pick her up from the shelter. She was a little treat aggressive at first as she has always had to fight for food with her siblings but now we are the best of friends 💕 Her name is Leia, she is a 15 week old husky X and you will be seeing a lot more of her on my account 😊
