Revived | I am still in shock at the past week or two. God has completely shown up in ways I could not rationalize on my own, and it all started with the small whisper in my spirit that this trip would be a place of healing. Sometimes we are quite literally called to the mountains, and although it may seem scary at first (especially in the middle of grad school😅), God’s faithfulness never fails. With that said, I call this piece: “Breathe of God” after 1 Kings 19:11-13
“The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.”
“Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a GENTLE WHISPER. When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.”
Time and travel with my sisters in the Pacific Northwest was wonderful. Cool sunny days, lots of hiking, relaxing and healthy food. Perfect. Thanks so much @kelmkee and @anestazz for a lovely trip. #pnw#olympicnationalpark#washingtonstate#sisters
This last Friday after I went out to Seattle with some friends I got home at 1am, took a 2 hour nap and proceeded to drive 3 hours to Mount Baker for sunrise. I think I am too used to not getting any sleep on these adventures because I was totally fine the entire drive there and back haha. I was hoping the lake was still melted but even with it frozen over I couldn't complain! Winter has definitely arrived and I think I'm okay with it ❄️ it had been awhile since I took a shot from this spot so I'm glad I now have a sweet winter version of this comp!
