When @omwithallee asked me what I wanted for my 25th birthday, I instantly knew the answer. I want her to meditate with me for at least 5 minutes a day for 25 days starting on my birthday, which is tomorrow!
This is simply a ploy for me to get her to hold me accountable because I have not made the conscious effort to mediate on a daily basis. So, I want to invite you all my insta friends & real world friends to join us for the next 25 days to check in with yourself!
I’d love hear from you daily via dm or text, letting me know that you meditated, whether it be for a few minutes or for a few hours. I promise that I’ll respond with my experience meditating and how long I actually ended up sitting still!

I’m so honoured to be able to share this #lifejourney with this amazing woman who is literally changing lives everyday with the work she does from the heart. And to know there will be another little Brenley gracing this world soon .. we know we will all be better for it knowing we have a family who cares so much of others ... where they put the needs of everyone else in front of their own.
Today we get to celebrate Brenley and the journey she’s been on ... where bringing into this world, a little human who cares so much as she does .. will be a legacy she continues to foster in her lifetime and for many more years to come 🙏❤️

I think one of the funny jokes that life plays on us is that sometimes the thing we struggle with the most is also something we really need to succeed, or even just be healthy. Although I haven't struggled with food in the way some people have, I have had my own struggles and my suggestion is to overcome them with formal help methods rather than them thinking about it a lot and trying to figure them out. There are plenty of formal help methods out there, both free and for pay, such as 12 step programs or therapy. Even keeping a regular journal is better than just thinking about it. Last, admitting it to other people is no big deal once you have admitted it to yourself. Last, you can get over it yourself, but the difference might be a significant amount of your life in comparison to doing formal methods. You can do it.
