*back in present* “Destroy it NOW! Trust me!” He threw something into towards her hands. She blinked and stepped back. The Ter’Angreal broke into pieces on the floor. She glared at it, then towards the man in front of her.
Light blind this oxbrained moron! “What did you do?!”
He stopped by bumping into her and holding her the last moment back from falling by grabbing her hand.
She stared up to him. Then she looked down. His hands were full of.... she felt how she grew pale. She could feel some kind of satisfaction coming through the bond as he looked down at his hands.
“This is for you, Missy. Courtesy of your marvelous warder.” He smiled down at her. “I just robbed the towers angreal storage.” He took one step back and bowed, before he grinned mischievously up to her.
Her glare rushed between the little statue in his hands and his face back and forth.
“WHAT did you DO, blood and bloody ashes?!”
He looked completely surprised. “I brought you gifts”
He looked kind of puzzled as he held the angreal towards her. Then he smiled. “Oh its fine. The perfect burglary, if I do say so myself. They will never suspect me.
Her eyes widened in shock. “Are you.... Did you.... How... could you..?”
He looked confused. “I thought you'd be happy!? You wanted an angreal, right? I got you one... And much more.” He looked at the broken gem on the floor.
“You can make another one, right?”
She stared up to him, slowly realizing WHAT he had done. Without... “Why haven’t you told me?”
He gave her an oblivious gaze, but through the bond came confusion and awkwardness.

*not the same day* “What fresh hell is this?!!” Lilith could all but hear incredulity and shock in Helena's voice. “BE an Asha'man?! You? An already raised Aes Sedai?!” Helena promptly went on into a long incessant lecture about there being two Towers for a reason, of training methods, of Oaths, and with it getting increasing boring Lilith stopped listening and just plain waited for the torrent of words to run out.
The duty, the how it’s done, the how things are supposed to be, it all sounded familiar, and Lilith could almost feel the rocking of the ship deck under her feet.
“Give me one good reason to do it.” the other Green insisted.
“Because I WANT IT” Lilith snapped. “I won't bond two of them, fine.
I won't even bond one. I will BE one!
Helena shook her head again.
“You should be more supportive you know!” Lilith was bubbling anger ready to go full teapot whistle in seconds. “You should be more reasonable.” Helena was beyond annoying with her fixed calm right now.
“Why am I even asking YOU?!” Lilith spun on her heel and bolted through the door. “I will ask HIM.” She left the door open and Helena's voice rang down the quarters
“You are a bloody headache, Morningstar!! You will end up back on a ship like that!”

Jakk leaned back in the armchair reading through the neatly kept leadgers.
Silver was extraordinary at monitoring all the goods they had procured over various heists and a few trades.
He deemed their profits great enough for him to take a bottle of the fine Illian wine for himself.
By Lilith's perilous temper, the wine was a culinary paradise.
Unfortunately, he had no time to savour the entire bottle, he was a warder now after all and he had to meet Lilith.
Walking the corridors of theWhite Tower had him stroll into Helena Sedai.
She seemed too friendly this time, even invited him for a cup of tea, presumably to talk something over.
Jakk managed to escape her, this time.
Too many bloody women in the bloody tower and he was bound to one of them and he was sure yet not understanding how, that another, Helena, was set on poisoning him.
Life was much more simple when he had been just a thief.
*Write for a friend week* thank you @helena.sedai
“I could just do it, I will not choose, I can't choose, I don't want to have to choose.” Lilith was pacing up and down the corridors of the third floor where the Green Quarters where situated talking to herself.
”I'll just have them both!” she was convincing herself and not believing it. Three loud bangs and she entered the sitting room, you only waited in front of the bedroom or the study at Helena’s, sitting room had free entrance for any other green or ‘green attached’ Lilith smirked.
She started without introduction, always sounding like directly continuing to where they left it that morning, and in a way it was a direct continuation of that talk, but..
“Say, what do you think, if I would, I mean what would happen if...” she came over to take the high pitcher with watermelon basil oosquai cocktail from Helena's hands. And a good thing she did because the other woman almost dropped it when she heard the end.. ”Bond two of them??!! Bond TWO Asha'man? Light woman I’m struggling with the idea of one, even if he is...” she stopped mid sentence and stared at Lilith. “TWO?!”
Lilith took a breath and shook her head chasing curiosity of the ‘even if’ and focusing on the
“And why ever not?!”
Helena took her glass and went to the window. “Because each and every one of them even half trained is still three times your strength, he can toss you about like a kitten. Because they have their own paths. Because he will be able to control you, remember how it all started..” Lilith was fast calculating how much of that she could tolerate them. “Because he will bloody well know what you think and feel and...that's just if it is ONE. Imagine it with two.” Lilith was imagining it. She hated the idea of being overpowered, or controled, but those two could not overpower her that was certain.
“And the other thing...multiple channeler bonds...side effects...headaches..passing out...light knows what else..” Helena shook her head dreading the prospect
“One would be more than enough for me.”
*written by @nagaru_charon *🐍 “That vile man would get what he deserved.
Because he was a vile man.
Helena stirred three times counterclockwise and added a pinch of Upilon Weed and the smoke rising from the cauldron turned light purple.
"Not quite right..."
Helen turned to her the old parchment containing the ancient recipe along with her own notes.
"Ah.. I forgot to add the Tearian Blineberries and the stalk of Horned Fennel".
Now the smoke turned sickly green and slowly changed into bright yellow.
"And now, a spoon of honey to sweeten the taste".
Helena knew of a certain man that could use a few days in bed to ... Learn a lesson or two.
A man called Jakk.
The potion was done, Helena poured it into a vial laughing maniacally.
Luckily, no one was there to see this wicked side of her, not even Zyre.”
After a year and a half of reading, I have completed Robert Jordan's WHEEL OF TIME series. I had started the series in high school but did not finish because all of the books had not been released yet. I am so glad I picked it back up. I have read many fantasy series but this 15 book epic is my second favorite fantasy world of all time behind of course Tolkien. This series though long with over 11000 pages and over 2000 named characters is well worth it and I recommend it to any and all fantasy fans. MAY THE DRAGON RIDE AGAIN ON THE WINDS OF TIME.
Led to the top of one of the towers, Amava found herself staring at an enormous winged beast, she had listened about from her days as novice in the White Tower.
"Since when we have a Raken?", her surprised eyes met his and the man chuckled a little, taking her hand before approaching the Seanchan monster.
That explained his lately absense, riding lessons would be needed to domesticate the animal along with some shooting practice.
Amava had no desire to learn how to deal with the disgusting beast unless it was extremely necessary.
She could feel Orion's amusement through the bond in response to her concern of riding the Raken, assurance flowing back to her from the man's mind.
He helped Amava to the saddle wrapping an arm lightly around the mayener, the creature hissing loudly before taking flight.
Observing the lands ahead, Amava heard his whisper. "We are taking you home my dear."
A simple burglary.
It was time.
Jakk was leaning up against a wall in Lilith's study. The cheese stunt, while enjoyable, served more than one purpose. He would use it as an alibi. The green sisters kept coming by Liliths chambers to find Jakk but Lilith kept turning them away. By now, everyone in the green quarters knew where Jakk was. Good.
It would be right about time now.
Jakk had given one part of liliths ter'angreal to one of the trusted thieves. The thief was instructed to go to the tower earlier this day and turn in the "mysterious item of power" to the Aes sedai. If that had taken place, and the ter'angreal was recieved, then it SHOULD have been taken to the Angreal storage room.
Behind a door that would be guarded by all kinds of traps and guards.
Jakk grabbed the opposite part of the ter'angreal from his secret pocket and cleared the center of the room enough for the gateway it would make.
Lilith watched him curiously.
That feeling of guilt came again... Should he tell her?? Of course not.. It was not her job... right?
"What are you doing now, my Gaidin?" She asked, as Jakk pulled over his cowl and face mask and made ready to activate the ter'angreal.
"You'll find out soon, missy. Just wish me luck, and keep the door locked shut." Jakk activated the ter'angreal and just like Lilith said, it opened up a gateway.. and thank the light.. it opened into a room full of strange trinkets. Jakk had to be swift, the guard would no doubt feel the gateway in the room. Jakk jumped through into the white tower's ter'angreal storage room and began grabbing random small trinkets. a ring, a necklace, a rod. He could hear a commotion starting outside. That was faster than he expected. Burn me! He quickly grabbed another ring and a small statue. The door started to open! Jakk grabbed two more items and leapt back through the gateway as the storage room door slammed open. Jakk deactivated the gateway ter'angreal and threw it to Lilith.
"Destroy it NOW! trust me!" Jakk said in a commanding tone.
She hesitated for a moment and then destroyed it with saidar. She must have felt the danger through the bond. She looked at Jakk.
"What did you do?!" She said

Eric's men came and left with little news. Thorvous wasn't in Caemlyn, the note said, he wasn't found, he wasn't even seen in the city for a couple of months. For all they knew he was still in the Black Tower, he practically never left.
That meant they would have to be asking a lot of questions on the road. That also meant they would be noticed and remembered.
She couldn't do much about Zyre’s height or appearance, but she could alter hers at least for a while.
Helena called out to the maid and gave her the list of ingredients needed.
Walnut leaves, black tremalking tea, ground chestnut peel and coal kaf blend.
And a box of face paint. Coal pens and cheek paint sticks. If she was doing this to her hair she will be in dire need of face paint.
The girl was back in an hour and Helena was immediately in the small private kitchen boiling everything down into a thick paste.
There was not much that could be done about the smell of kaf that would linger around her for days to come.
She carefully went through her blonde tresses making sure all were covered and sat patiently waiting.
Hideous. Her face lost all its glow once outlined by the dark hair.
Like a sailor's widow staring at the sea.
Almost regretting it she dried off her hair, tempted to channel it off right then and there.
It looked absolutely hideous.
It looked nothing like herself.
Perfect, she thought grudgingly, no one will look at you twice let alone remember you.
Comment which character you think is best out of the following:
1) Gandalf (The Lord of the Rings)
2) Master Elodin (The Kingkiller Chronicles)
3) Tasslehoff Burrfoot (Dragonlance)
4) Perrin Aybara (The Wheel of Time)

Lilith strolled at Jakk’s side through the tower corridors, watching him curiously. He had picked up a few novices on their way out, and from what kind of diabolical satisfaction came through the bond, she really wasn’t sure she wanted to ask any further. But on the other hand his amusement was kind of infectious, she just hoped that she wouldn’t have doomed the poor novices to be the next generation of runaways. “What is going on, Jakk?”
One side of his mouth curled up, as he answered. She started smirking.
“Remember that nasty penance that Helena gave me?”
She raised one brow. “To serve cheese to the green quarters for the next three months?”
Exactly, my dear Aes Sedai,” he winked.
“What she did NOT stipulate...”
Now they passed the great doorways onto the gardens. His grin got even more evil now. Her nose cringed as she could smell something bad as they walked towards a wagon standing outside.
“...is what KIND of cheese I would be serving.”
By the Dark One’s luck, he WAS pure evil. He pulled back a sheet now, that had covered the wagon. All of a sudden she felt a bit sick.
“This... is Casu Marzu, a traditional Cairhenian delicacy. It is also known as Maggot cheese. Courtesy from The Wild Mouse.” Light burn her. Chief-General would kill him. She could hear one of the novices throwing up behind them. She had eaten human, she would keep this now in her stomach too. She just kept staring at this awful man in plain disbelief. “You know this isn’t going to end well?”
“I know... But I can’t help but explore a loophole when I see it... Besides, the satisfaction will make it all worth while.”
As he explained the task to the novices one of them started crying. She bit her lip not to start smirking, before she told them to get Hoggy to help them. She’d like that. Lilith was almost certain.
After the novices slowly moved towards the wagon, she decided it might would be better to barricade themselves in their quarters, before Tarmon Gai’don breaks loose in the green quarters, as the wheel weaves, as the wheel weaves.
Wheel of Time Spoilers161 – TSR – Ch2 Whirlpools in the Pattern Part 3
This section begins with Rand, dreaming a sexually charged dream about Min and Elayne. #Berelain enters his room and he snaps awake. He is standing and holding his sword of fire in the span of a breath. Rand is becoming more paranoid by the hour, and we'll spend a lot of time discussing Rand's slow descent into madness. She wants to seduce him, but Rand is having none of it. He does try to remain polite through most of the encounter, even when Berelain refuses to take no for an answer. Luckily for her, Rand loses his patience, and slowly pushes her out of the room with a wall of air. Before she's out of the door, a cock crows in the distance, a widely known omen of death; the moment that ties each of the boy's timelines together for us. In that moment, Rand's own reflections in the mirrors step out into the room. In a beautifully dark action scene #Rand fights many copies of himself in a long drawn out battle. It takes him quite a while to find the answer, that he must absorb them into himself. The Dragon is one with the land, and so to ground this bubble of Evil Rand must touch the copies of himself with is own body, rather than with dirt or wood which is what works for the other boys. His training with Lan is likely what keeps the #Dragon alive.
