Love, I get it. Life is B-U-S-Y.⠀
Seriously, I do. It’s not easy to juggle building a business with a full life, to integrate one-more-thing into an already overflowing to-do list.⠀
But 'Your Brand’s Voice' is not about adding more to the list. It’s about providing just the right resources and guidance to help you show up. As yourself. In front of your people.⠀
Because when you know, deep down, what your brand’s voice really sounds like, everything flows, love.⠀
From copy to content to the way that you engage with your audience, everything gets easier.⠀
You show up with more intention.⠀
You get visible with more courage.⠀
You create with more clarity and connection.⠀
You leave behind the hustle and heartache and enter the realm of ease and flow.⠀

Joining in today with @imperfectbosses and #thetruthrebellion where we call out the lies we've believed and declare truth over ourselves instead! ❤️
I've always loved to craft and create from a young age and pursuing a business degree instead of art as well as starting my own business within that field - I constantly fought against doubt and lies. I thought because my background and experience wasn't by the book that I was unqualified - but that is a LIE. 🙌🏾
Instead, God continued to remind me that before any of that I was called. CALLED to live in confidence in who He created me to be. And with Him I an qualified to do anything He sets before me. When I am not enough, He always is! ❤️
I hope you will join in with us today in confessing our truths and sharing our stories! Tag a friend to encourage this morning and share if this resonated with you. #CommunityOverCompetition
What do you want to be when you grow up? Well, if you're not sure you want to do just one thing for the rest of your life, you're not alone. “Understanding evil as the absence of Light requires you to examine the choices that you make each moment in terms of whether they move you toward Light or away from it. It allows you to look with compassion upon those who engage in evil activities, even as you challenge their activities, and thus protects you from the creation of negative karma. It permits you to see that the place to begin the task of eliminating evil is within yourself. This is the appropriate response to evil.”
Happy Wednesday Beauties!
Just dropping by with some love bombs for your day; a W.I.P collabo with my fave creative partner Soweto Bosia, (a sneak peek of my upcoming LoveBombs collection in February)
an excerpt from my poetry book, "Butterfly Spirit" (2015). Remember, despite what it feels like today...You ARE LOVED. (You can pre-order ART + BOOKS now; just DM me if you want first dibs before the release date!!!!) The Unspoken Power of Blossoms
This is for you, blossom. And believe me when I call you this; because I have studied the origins of flowers.
I have come to understand that it is first and foremost a seed. Planted by the hands of someone who may or may not love you right.
Sometimes a seed is planted in dirt that seems impossible to push through.
But you, I know for sure you have pushed through the dirt because you are STILL here... #keepblossoming#youarestrongerthanyouthink❤️🌟🔥
💗’s Can you believe we are almost half way?!?!?! This 6 weeks is flying by and we are loving every minute with you 😍😍😍!!! Today’s Emotional Heartstring is about “feeling” love. When we “feel” like someone has earned love it’s usually pretty easy for us to love them. Or if we are having a great day than it’s usually easier for us to show some love. But how do we do with love when someone isn’t exactly earning it or when we are having a bad day 🤔? Are we still oozing the love out for others? So many times we equate or reserve “love” for the times we WANT to share it. But what about the times we don’t “feel” like it? Are we still supposed to love when others are with us that need some loving? And the answer is YES. Not an easy yes- I know that’s hard to do, but it’s still yes. God doesn’t say to love when others earn it or love when we feel like it. He just simply says to love. Just something to think about today as you course through your day ahead. Yes, LOVE is a feeling but it is not to be reserved for only when we feel like it. 💗 ya!!! #wholehearted#herwholeheartedlife#5heartstrings#wholeheartedinspiration1

📚: Love Does Chapter 13
It never works to try to get someone else to love enough the parts of us that we don’t love about ourselves.
Is this true? I believe mostly yes... I have to learn to love the whole package, and every messy detail in order to be in that deep satisfaction of myself. No shortcuts or true bypass by letting another do it for me. I’ve seen this in myself and I’ve seen it in others. I’ve loved the heck out of other’s messy parts only to have them look at me as if it can’t be true. Same for myself. You get this too?
Indeed a little boost of love from another can sometimes be a launching pad of self love... indeed.. and a hand holding mine in a cold strange moment of self defeating thought loops is a rare gift of kindness. Still, at the 3am hour we are left with our own soul and our own demons to befriend. This is the true work of self love. Accepting everything and loving it all into the light. This is the journey to fullness. Wholeness. Totality.
“As a prescribing conventional psychiatrist, I spent many years privately eye-rolling the notion that our childhoods matter.
This eye roll was nurtured by medical training that positioned the chemical imbalance theory and mix-and-match medications as real treatment with an optional side-dish of years-on-the-couch psychotherapy.
Why would childhood experiences matter if your brain is broken because of your bad genes?
Childhood experiences wouldn’t matter any more than diet, toxicant exposures, or relationship tensions – because your symptom all come from your misfiring brain chemicals!
But this 18-year study shows otherwise:
Early negative parenting elevates both inflammation and depressive symptoms during adulthood, and increases the likelihood that problems in adult relationships with a romantic partner will amplify inflammation still further, indirectly amplifying depressive symptoms.

M E S S A G E... What message are we choosing to express in the world in each moment?
Through our actions, thoughts, physiology etc... a ripple of energy feeds out regardless of what actions we choose.
Ever walked in a room and felt tension in the air even though noone told you what went on previously?
We're a lot more aware than we realise.
And we communicate a lot more than just words. In fact words only make up 7% of what we communicate to others.
There's so much more.
So... what message will we choose to communicate with the world today? How will we choose to show up?

“Do you have days where you doubt yourself?”
A good friend texted me this question last week. She and I met over social media, and she has become one of my inspirations. She is tough, passionate and incredibly driven. From the outside looking in, this is a woman who does not doubt herself. And yet, here I was on a Sunday reading this text from her: “do you have days where you really doubt yourself?”
Without a beat, I answered back “Yes.” I have moments and even days where I doubt it all- from the smallest thing to the biggest thing. In fact, you should have seen me the day before my Today Show appearance. I was a ball of stress and doubt. Was I saying the right thing? Was I wearing the right thing? Was my hair doing the right thing?
Here’s the truth. Self-doubt will always be a part of me. And it is always going to a part of you. But here is the beauty…. it’s only one part of many. I also have a part of me that is confident. I have a part of me that is a total goddess. My job is to nurture these other parts- to give them a stronger voice in the dialogue that is my life. My job is to also acknowledge and give love to the part of me that is so consumed with self-doubt.
You see, the more you ignore something, the stronger it becomes. I can’t hate my self-doubt away. I can’t shame it into disappearing. But I can acknowledge the shit out of it, and let it have room to breathe. Let it have room to say what it needs to say, and once it’s said it all…. I can bring the other parts of me in to comfort it.
I can say that I now have far less moments of self-doubt than before. I find that when I am taking care of myself, I am able to easily navigate the moments where I doubt myself. When I ground myself with a morning routine, set intentions, and spend time with my community, I can handle this part of me with so much grace. And when I don’t, I spiral into a hole… which also happens (and that is ok).........

“Gratitude is meant to be both felt & expressed. It is an acute awareness of our many blessings and the ability we have to invest them back into our world” 💜 @b.oakman .
There’s something about expressing gratitude. It shifts something within your spirit. It forces you to shift your focus. Amongst sadness or disappointment or loneliness, gratitude allows you to escape these spaces. Gratitude births joy .
My gratitude today is for the friendships I have been gifted throughout my years. How they have encouraged, inspired, strengthened & taught me so much
Particularly grateful for this beautiful soul. She is gentle in nature yet so incredibly strong, she is kind, generous & wise. Her beauty is inside & out. She has been one of my greatest encouragers this past year & I am forever grateful our paths crossed almost one year ago
I know she’ll probably not be a huge fan of the public acknowledgement, but today is her birthday. So today I just wanted to express my gratitude for her life & her presence in mine.
