Back from our 7 week little tour, now the fun of tackling flash cards filled with pics. After I cleared double and ones that didnt turn out I was left with just a hair over 2200 pics.. should keep me out of trouble for awhile I guess 😂🙁 One of my favorite mornings here tho. Up at 5am to drive 30 minutes into arches then hike a mile through the first window then down the other side to climb 50ft up a spire that was about 5ft x 5ft at the top for 6am to wait and catch the sunrise. A pretty peaceful morning until tourists started showing up soon after the sun poked its head over the horizon.
Yesterday we visited Arches National Park. This is one of the smaller national parks, but it still holds many beautiful sights. The park is housing these sandstone arches, dating back roughly 65 million years. The arches are formed mainly by rainwater and wind erosion.
In the picture you see the two Windows arches. There is hiking trails leading all around, up from the parking lot. A crossway gave us the choices "primitive trail" and "main trail"; We took the privitive trail, leading us around the Windows.
Add a little more adventure in your life. Buy those plane tickets. Climb that mountain. Kiss that girl. And if all that seems like too much, at least follow my account until you get the nerve to do it 😜
