This month we are sharing 3 tips on how to get people to cooperate with you.
#1 - Ask with precision
Others might not cooperate with you if they don’t know exactly what they should be doing; too often our ‘Ask’ isn’t clear. One of the first modules on my online programme is about perfecting your ask and having the courage to deliver it.
Is the person that you want to cooperate with you clear on the actions that you want them to take? How will they know they’re doing it successfully? Have you shared your big vision to inspire them into action?

Here’s a few #funfacts about me you may not know.
🎯This sweatshirt is from my freshman year of college when I played Basketball at Linn Benton Community College in #albanyoregon. There’s just something comforting about it and I refuse to get rid of it. #neverforgetwhereyoucamefrom
🎯 I rarely throw business documents away. Seriously true statement. I have a box full of old notebooks with research, past projects, reports, basically anything related to #marketing, #leadership or #fitness that I thought may be useful later on in my career/ life!
These facts may sound totally lame, but maybe you can relate, idk? Anyways, this past Sunday I spent some time going through my box full of documents and I came across this statement I
wrote down many years ago...
WHEN CREATIVITY GOES BEFORE THE PROCESS, THE ODDS OF SUCCESS GO WAY DOWN. 💥💥
I can’t exactly tell you where that quote came from, if it was from a marketing book or its my thoughts I had after listening to a presentation, but I definitely think that statement is just as true today as the day I wrote it.
It seems we all have so much going on in our lives or at the workplace. WE NEED PROCESSES! Processes include a set of interrelated tasks that when completed help the organization, team complete a pre-defined goal.
One of the most important things I’ve learned over the years, is that marketing processes are a definite must! By first analyzing what’s currently going on in an organization, followed by creating a strategy on how to meet specific goals, it will be much easier to then bring in the creative attributes needed to execute the plan. If the creative comes before the marketing plan, then more than likely time is wasted and the creative must be re done due it not matching up with the plan and/or goals.
If I can offer you one tip today, figure out a process that will make your daily to-do list, your highest priorities, your workouts, whatever is important to you, flow smoother where you are able to accomplish your pre-defined goals you’ve set for yourself or team. 🤓😘
✅💯Every day you start at zero. You get a new start to make it better than it was yesterday. Do not replay the old thoughts of yesterday that didn’t serve you any good. Try listening to a motivational video within the first hour of your day to set the direction of your day. If you were aware that your thoughts created your reality “literally”, what would you focus your thoughts on? >>>👇🏼CURIOUS TO HEAR WHAT YOU’d FOCUS ON👇🏼<<<
A brand goes beyond the pretty logo, color schemes, programs, services, and products; rather, it encompasses everything else about an organization including reputation, culture and core values. Public Relations in branding aids in strategic messaging (the story and medium used) i.e. the conversation and social media. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When planning your message ask yourself if the message is...
1. appropriate 2. meaningful. 3. memorable 4. understandable and 5. believable. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is a great way to drop unnecessary communication or change it. #kbtips
three years ago, I had the idea of starting my own business in nails. one year later, I mustered up enough savings and launched my first pop up in chicago (thanks to @colinoflondon who took a chance on me and wasn’t afraid to test some bold ideas). one year later, kim, cabell and I opened the doors of our very own ezza nails in downtown chicago. that was one year ago today. thank you doesn’t begin to express the gratitude I have to everyone who has supported and helped us get to where we are today. ezza is here because of the efforts of many, both men and women (but a lot of women). happy ezzaversary to you all. this milestone is as much yours as it is ours. stop on by for a piece of cake, a mani or just to say hi. to celebrate, we’ll be sharing our favorite ezza memories or things about ezza. what’s your favorite thing or memory about ezza? 💚
