Each day is a blessing, we have been given the gift of life and for the parents out there we have been given an even bigger gift of being a parent, to mould a human being into the best possible version of ourselves.
With so many different variables out there that can really take the wind out your sails and make it hard for anyone to stay motivated, weather it be in the gym, at work or even in your home. It is important that as individuals we try to see the best out of every situation, the good(obviously) and even the bad. There is always something that we can learn and grow from in every situation. So look at the tough times as an opportunity to grow and be better
Although times may be tough and may even get worse, there is always something positive one can take from any situation or experience. Those tough times will never last unless you let them! What will last is your family so teach them to see the best in every situation. Don’t let any doubt or fear steer you away from what it is you are trying to accomplish. Never let one bad day or one dull moment ruin the plans you have for yourself, your family and your future
Infuse your life with action. Don’t wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. What ever your beliefs are, honor your creator. Dont wait for grace to come from high above, but rather do whatever it is you can to make grace happen...... yourself, right now, down here on earth... Everything I do, I do for the greater good of my family ❤️
WHERE HAS THE DAY GONE?!
Gah! 🤦🏼♀️ Have you ever had a day planned out to get so much accomplished and then life just happens and the day gets away from you? That was my day!!
Up at 5am, tried to sleep in, dogs fighting at 6am 😡 My man forgets his BCAA’s on the counter so off I go to the gym to bring him his cocktail 🍸😝. Chatted a while with some friends and then headed back home to crush 2 workouts 💪🏼 back to back!
Why didn’t I do them at the gym you ask? Because it wasn’t planned!! Lol today was a rest 😴 day but I decided to join #thebigsweat challenge!
Anyhow, finished that up, run to get a new phone, race home to train a client and then finally went grocery shopping!!
Phew!! 😅. What a day!! So now it’s time to relax. I will need to get caught up tomorrow on what I couldn’t get to today! 👍🏼
Hope you all are having an awesome weekend so far!
Banded hip thrusts from a kneeling position. With any hip extension exercise (hip thrust, bridges, Romanian deadlifts etc) the key is always the hip hinge! Tilt your pelvis posteriorly (think of a hunching motion - sorry! It’s the best way to describe it lol)...That posterior pelvic tilt at the end of the rep is what maximally engages the glutes and gets them to fire. Become a master of the hip hinge and watch your 🍑 grow 😜😜. Train smart and hard!
