#BFFSheepyShells are one of my best-selling products! And even if I'm not having an official update (like #HalloweenVillains, featuring Witch Hazel, bottom right), you can always find them in the shop...whether a pop-up colorway like Isle of Skye II (top left), a year-long official colorway like Scottish Highlands (bottom left), or Custom Sheepy Shells that you design yourself! (AD/UNPAID) I‘ve finished my third bobbin of yarn for my sweater project! Wohoo! To be honest, I have absolutely no idea how much yarn I have been producing. I was aiming for a fingering weight when it‘s plyed and it might even be possible to end up being one. My guts say that it might be enough for a cropped 3/4 sleeve sweater when I add another bobbin, since I filled them to the max... I don‘t know, I‘ll just keep spinning. 😂 This sweater project will hopefully be a better one than the versions I tried before. I will knit my sweater based on the Raglano pattern by nicolor Strickdedign on ravelry. I‘ve knitted this pattern a couple of times before and it‘s deep neckline makes it possible to wear over my retro shirt dresses. If everything goes well, I can wear my sleeveless dresses even in winter! Changing your fashion style from none at all to something specific over night is really hard... 😅 It‘ll take me some months... and I am rambling again! 🐏
TOMORROW!! 😍😍😍 The Halloween Villains update goes live at 10 AM Pacific at www.blainefleeceandfiber.com - follow the Linktree Store link in profile! Bellatrix Lestrange, Witch Hazel, Jareth the Goblin King, and a few Isle of Skye #BFFSheepyShells will be available! 🤗🤗🤗 #yarnspinnersofinstagram
I have been "saving" this #handspunyarn for, you know, that perfect project (which doesn't really exist) but you know once it comes along, that you'll just know? That project finally came along and I'm so excited to see this knit up. The yarn was a club colourway from @sweetgeorgia called Autumn Moon, released in October 2015, which I spun that month for the SweetGeorgia blog. I've hoarded it ever since. I'm so glad I did! More information coming soon as this is a test knit for @orangeknits and I'll be able to show off the knit when the pattern is released. Until then, teaser photos! Sorry guys!
