The third limb in the ancient science of Ashtanga is the yoga posture known as Asana. Asana or yoga pose, many people think it means touching the toes, but asana is more about touching the soul.
Learning to be still in the middle of it all. The word "Asana" literally means “Seat.” It’s not like a sport when you trying to compete. A regular practice can generate health so that we can pursue the knowledge of ourself. @mcyogi 🙏🏽

I am attending my very first yoga workshop this Thursday 😬 wish me luck! Got so used to just practicing yoga in my living room that I thought it’s time to get out, attend an actual yoga class and get taught by a real teacher 🙈 #livingroomyoga
Yoga flows are very similar to the flow of events within our lives - they both have many twists and turns, flow can be fast, or slow, or still. Unexpected things can happen, painful things, we can get frustrated or angry. But that’s why we practice. Welcome to Day 1 🎉 Tomorrow, our first pose is puppy pose & I’m going with a bound, half lotus variation.
Ok, so, we had a family trip to the hospital today which was really uplifting & really draining all at the same time 😅 ... & I’m already messing up the challenge MO because it’s not IG or yoga related... 🤣 Cara got a new blood glucose sensor (if you’re interested, it’s called the Freestyle Libre)... We still have to do the regular prick tests 4 times a day, but it means I can literally scan her anytime & see what her blood sugar levels are doing. Genius! Actually getting her to accept having it put on her arm was a whole other matter, but we got there in the end 👍 I’ll just take this opportunity to send a big cyber hug to everyone who has messaged me to ask how Cara has doing... Especially @azure.positive & @synnergyoga who have given us loads of great advice ❤️
