So much that makes me happy in one shot – the water, the sunshine, the practice, the progress. #ekapadarajakapotasana // #rajacapotasana is something that's been sittting at the back of my practice for a while; every now and again when inspiration strikes I see where I'm at. But it's not been something I've decided to completely focus on, i decided it will happen if and when it's going to happen. And where I am now, compared to this time last year, is a totally different space. Just a few months ago I was able to start flipping my grip without help or props (my left side has been a little slower catching up, some days it doesn't want to come near this shape). But yesterday morning my right foot was all up on my head! It was a seriously proud moment for me, getting this on the paddleboard 💜✨

There are two kinds of talk you engage in every day:
1. Talking to others.
2. Talking to yourself.
Whether you're introverted or extroverted, creative or practical, you spend huge swathes of your time talking to YOU!
You do it while exercising, working, eating, reading, writing, walking, texting, crying, arguing, negotiating, planning, praying, meditating, having sex, and yes you even do it in your sleep.
You're actually doing it right now.
Don't worry, it doesn't mean you're crazy. Or, perhaps it means we're all a little crazy (a lot in my case 😉). .
Did you know that we have over fifty thousand thoughts per day?
Did you know there is a connection between what we say and how we feel?
Did you know that positive self- talk can dramatically improve mood, boost confidence, increase productivity, and more?
Did you know the reverse is also true? Negative self-talk can not only put us in a bad mood, it can leave us feeling helpless. It can make small problems seem bigger and even create problems where none existed before.
Did you know your self-talk is fucking you over and in ways you can't even begin to imagine.

The flu season is officially here 🤒😷
Last weekend I was lucky enough to welcome it just in a perfect moment when my hubby was out of town and I was home alone with my two babies 🍼😇 🐶
I thought I gonna die, I had zero energy and I barely could move.
My body collapsed and refused to function. Thanks god for good people around me (my yoga students) that gave me a hand when I needed the most.
The only yoga I did was in my bed just to help myself to feel better and to strengthen my immune system (I'll share with you in my next post - Yoga when you're sick - 🤒)
Finally back on my mat, shaking & wobbling but feeling much better and stronger than just a few days ago.
Listen to your body's needs friends take it easy, remind yourself to slow down and relax more often. xoxo 💋💓
Happy 5 months birthday my 🍒 pie. Thank you for bringing so much smiles, sunshine, and love to our lives.
I don't remember myself smiling so much every day in my entire life.
Hey #315fam, I'm looking for someone with decent camera skills to help me out for about an hour on Sunday night (9/16). I can pay in gratitude or dinner 😊 (but seriously, I'm actually willing to negotiate on price!) - let me know if you're interested or want more information, tag your sister or your friends who are good at the 📷 thing, I'd be super grateful 🙏💜 it doesn't have to be total pro level stuff, im not looking for someone who turns up with all the right equipment, my phone would be camera enough. Anyone with a decent eye is ✨ welcome ✨ to apply!! 🙏💜
Few more chances to flow before I am Bali bound next week w/ @drishtijourneys & @ejkarmawax !! 🛫🏝👜💜🌏👋🏽🧘🏻♀️

Meditation is not
Controlling our thoughts.
Meditation is not
Letting our thoughts control. 🤯
Like reading a book in public.
Something distracts you.
A person. A noise. A thought.
You look away from the book.
Give that distraction a notice.
AND REFOCUS BACK TO YOUR PAGE.
It’s that act of turning your attention back...
That, is mindful.
Disclosure: I don’t practice this flow in any classes. Just playing around ✨
Relax. Renew. Restore. Recharge. Yesterday's #moonday brings us into a new lunar month; the new moon is a great time to clarify your intentions for the coming month, to set yourself up for success.
This week coming up is going to be a grand one folks, I'm so thrilled to announce some schedule shake-ups! Here's what things are looking like:

WEDNESDAY 9/12 at 5:45am & 12
SATURDAY 9/15 at 10:45
TUESDAY 9/11 Yang/Yin for Hips at 7pm

SUNDAY 9/16 Yang Yin at 5:30
THURSDAY 9/13 Yin at 11:30

SUNDAY 9/16 Vinyasa at 12:15
Totally thrilled to announce I'm joining the team at the beautiful @vyanayoga in Manlius to teach Dynamic Vinyasa on Saturdays at 8:30am, starting this coming Saturday 9/15! Next Friday (9/21) I'll start covering the lunchtime yoga class slot at 12. I can't wait to see you past the gorgeous temple doors in the studio, it's a room I can't wait to fill with joy and sweat 😉💜
Unfortunately these additions to my schedule come with the necessity of sacrifice. I'm sorry to say that the vinyasa class on Sunday 9/16 is going to be the last vinyasa class I'll teach at Pacific Health Club - next week there will be a final yin class on Thursday 9/20. It's always painful for me to say goodbyes, but I hope to see some familiar faces before moving forwards to the next chapter in my teaching journey. And I'm hoping that they're not really goodbyes, just "see you soon, until next time"'s — Syracuse is a small city! As always I'll keep my teaching engagements listed here and on my website (link in bio) if you're wondering where to catch me on any given day! ✨✨
