Deadlift: 162.5kg x 10 (PR)
OHP: 55kg x 10
Bench: 100kg x 5
Squat: 140kg x 8
One volume PR this week on the deadlift! Training was, again, feeling great last week. Sitting comfortably at ~3300kcals a day gaining an average of 0.5lbs per week! Let's see where I'm at by the end of the year... This is the first time I'm taking phased training seriously. A serious hypertrophy phase with linear progression and LOADS of volume until the end of the year (perhaps with a mini cut for my wedding...😂). Right into 3-4 weeks strength (triples mainly), then 1RM testing. Can't wait! I am LOVING training right now, if you couldn't tell! .
Second session after the switch to sumo and it's feeling fantastic! I reckon this 162.5x10 was an RPE 7-8? Feeling great! •OHP👇🏼
55kg for 10 is insane to me! I remember OHP'ing 60kg a couple of months back and failing after 2 reps! I feel like I'm in that noob gains stage of OHP as it was relatively untrained until about 3-4 months ago. •BENCH👇🏼
Heels down sucks! At this point, I feel like I've tried every foot position. Pretty happy with the top sets but I feel like I can do more... I might try heels up again in a few cycles but we'll see! •SQUAT👇🏼
The best lift of the four for me right now. I posted my cues for this on my story yesterday and they're working out so well! Feeling like I can't fail a rep... 3plates for a set of 8 is insane! I can still remember my 1RM being 120kg ~18 months ago! .
