Totally dating myself but do you guys remember the song “Stay the Same” by Joey McIntire? I don’t know what possessed me but I started singing it to my girls when I was tucking them in the other night. I sang it for my 8th grade graduation 😂 and loved the words then but they are so much more powerful to me now as a Mother. ANYWAYS, the words go something like this... “Don't you ever wish you were someone else,
You were meant to be the way you are exactly.
Don't you ever say you don't like the way you are.
When you learn to love yourself, you're better off by far.
And I hope you always stay the same,
cuz there's nothin' 'bout you I would change.
I think that you could be whatever you wanted to be
If you could realize, all the dreams you have inside...” I know it’s SO cheesy, but I love these words that are simply true. And it was a big hit back in my day 😂 If you haven’t heard it before, go listen to it for me! If you remember it please 🙋🏼♀️ so I don’t feel so old 😂 My kids will know allll the classics 😂
Leg day: How it works:
* Run every exercise in a circuit fashion.
* Break 15 sec between sets
* Each set is taken to failure with a target of 10 reps. If all 10 reps are completed for all the sets on a particular exercise, increase next session. If you don’t reach 10 reps, continue with cluster sets to reach 10 reps. * Seth Set are a version of a drop set. After your last set, drop the weight by half and immediately do 30 reps in as many sets as it takes. *After last set for a body part, a 30 sec weighted stretch is done.
